HELL NO. I despise these boots. They are cheap-looking, usually garish, and just straight corny.
Rubber rain boots are a must though, in this city. (Especially in today's conditions!) I opted for a pair of matte black rubber riding-boot style boots from J.Crew, last season. They are classic (almost like something you would wear out on the paddock, tee hee) and I won't cringe and think "What the HELL was I thinking??" in a couple years.
