Guest 9 makes me sad....sad for her.
I never understood why if you don't like an article, you can't just carry on with your life. Does posting a nasty quip really accomplish anything? It's not like the article was a scathing rip on someone, or anything that could possibly be perceived as harmful.
Get over yourself, rude.

Equally as obsessed, yes maam. Even more so now because my nails are so tragically stained yellow-ish....and yes, I've tried everything to get the stains out....so I just keep them "painted" now.
ONLY nudes & neutrals & naturals in the summertime, for fingers and toes. Bright nails take away from other embellishments like jewelry and/or colorful clothes.
In the wintertime, inky blues and blood reds, and much shorter nails.
I was just about to start doing my digits now!

What, exactly, about that photo says streetwalker?
a) That little girl couldn't be cuter.
b) Little girls wear leggings all the time.
c) Little girls love shiny and glittery things.
d) Just because an adult female can potentially skank up an outfit which may include leggings and/or something metallic, does that make a toddler skanky for wearing it with a pudgy diaper outline and an innocent top? If the toddler was wearing eyeliner, 4 inch pumps, and a midrif bearing bra-top, you'd have a story. Those are just darn cute.

Does this little munchkin look like a streetwalker?

Perhaps we'd all agree: it's how you put it together, no matter what your age. Perhaps gold is a bit hooker, true. But baby fat, pigtails and saddle shoes really make it hard for me to see whore-ishness in a toddler.

I agree, anything over age 3, and it would be a no-go.

Make up your mind: are you talking about primers or are you talking about vibrating mascaras?!
Who needs vibrating wands....I see it as yet another gimmick.
I recently started using a primer, however, and it makes a big difference. I tried using the white, primer side of my L'Oreal Beauty Tubes mascara under my regular mascara (skipping the "tubing" half of the Beauty Tubes, which I find too thin.) And presto, significantly more major lashes for me. I think I'll be a lifelong devotee of primers now, and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Yep, it depends on your face. The shorter the cut, the more feminine features you need to compensate for an inherently mannish length. I've tried short hair, and I always felt like I looked like a boy....I learned a lot about my features and my body's proportions. If I looked pixyish like Mia Farrow in the 50's / 60's, or long and slender like Freja Beha Erichsen (my current short-hair obsession), I'd do it. I need the long hair to girlie myself up, though....no getting around it. It's easy to look at a photo of a 5'-10" model with a 10" long neck and fall in love with a short crop! We rarely leave the salon looking like them, do we :-(

On the plus side, having short hair allows you to rock a lot more dramatic eye makeup, which is super fun ;^)

I find them adorable : ) but impractical : (
Over the years, with all the turning & flipping I do in bed all night, I've evolved into wearing tanks and boy-short undies. Anything else, even short sleeved T's or boxers, get bunched-up and twisted.
Oh how I wish I could lay in one place all night...I'd be wearing the cutest nighties....but it always gets too uncomfortable. I think they're best for romping, not for snoozing.

YES!
I fell in love with that look too, from several crazy-gorgeous do's in ads from FW09 and some backstage shots (Prada, oh me oh my!). Don't do what I did, however. I went to Ulta looking for a crimper, and I got sidetracked by one of those double-barrel jobbies. Turns out they're perfect for replicating an 80's perm....not chic in any way shape or form. I should've stuck to my guns and gotten the $9 old-school crimper. I have long, fine hair, and I was planning to do the crimped, teased, giant-thick ponytail. My quest is not over.

Eh, I don't find it to be a big deal. Probably because Kate's never been a big paparazzi-avoider / hater in the first place. She's always seemed very civil with photogs on the street, and just goes about her way, never trying to hide herself or Ryder from photos. We all know who he is, so why not do a cute shot in an editorial spread? You have to assume that if Ryder was uncomfortable and didn't want to do it, he'd have made it clear to his mom. Other celebs, the Leo DiCaprio's shielding themselves from view of any & all photogs, don't expect to see this type of thing from them. These two remind me of Sarah Jessica and James Wilke: just going about their business, whether you're photographing them or not.....not a whole lot to hide. I can't imagine that Ryder will be traumatized by this in the future.

Nice detective work, guest! In light of that, even more interesting, huh?
