All well and good, but when spending on those so-called investment pieces you need to make sure you're investing wisely. Just because the shoes cost 800 dollars doesn't necessarily mean you will be able to wear them more that 8 times before they fall apart. I won't name names, but some designers get away with charging big bucks for clothes and shoes that aren't worth a fraction of their hefty price tag. I just bought a pair of Kristen Lee shoes for $300 bucks and they are worth every penny.

I doubt that with the gigantic demand for models in an ever-expanding fashion world, a ban on retouching would lead to only a few "naturally flawless" girls getting all the work. The argument everyone has against retouching is that NOBODY is as flawless as the airbrushers would have you believe. Maybe it would just force the industry to be more creative. Obviously someone needs to.

SICK of Sienna. I don't know why she was ever called a fashion icon anyway. GASP! Boots and a tasteful sweater! OMG a mini dress and strappy sandals! Yawn.

Who are these people? It should be someones job to do a best-dressed-on-a-budget list, because that takes much more creativity and gumption than wearing the newest chloe frock. It's like, DUH.

Reason #3456 why Marc Jacobs needs to take a permanent vacation from officiating all things fashion. What a herb. Rarely do his clothes look appropriate on adults, it's true, but why do they keep calling that poor guy?

I wish it reminded me of the 90's! I was there too and the clothes left me cold. I did, however, love the humane society sponsorship and the little faux-fur jacket with the anti-fur pin. Cute.

Wintour all the way. You need shoulders for that hideous rag.
