I tbink it's funny/weird which of Lily Allen's statements they chose to put on the cover. Kind of random, but it does grab your attention, as mudslinging generally does.
Is she wearing a wedding dress?

No, Faran!
er...I mean, Congratulations, Faran!
I'll miss your postings... you were my favorite!
I'll be looking at Nylon to see what you'll do there.

The girl in the catalog has her shoulders slouched forward and her chest lowered and deflated and the online girl has her shoulders way back and her chest up and spread... I think that accounts for the less alluring shape of the online girl's top.
I like that first photo though.

I like to buy that stuff for myself... it looks much less feminine than if I bought its girly counterpart because the packaging is more masculine (or at least neutral, if it's from Keihl's or something). Plus, the formulas are different for men's skin.
It's funny, the Clinique men's line even sells bronzer and concealer... not something I would want to try.
Remember fashionista, some of your readers are men.

I was expecting some Heath Ledger news on fashionista from the 'current boyfriend of Gemma Ward' and ' last seen on a date with Gemma Ward the prior evening' slant

Team Jillian!
She seems to have the most honed design aesthetic of the bunch.

Yeah, 'billboard' items are almost a dealbreaker for me on a girl... there a few exceptions, but mostly not a good look.

That first dress looks like a costume made for a live-action movie based on a cartoon network show... the second one is really pretty though.

Bah. Christian was the totally predictable winner to me... Team Jillian!
Her clothes were way quirkier than anything Ralph Lauren!

I wear black flip flops, the ones from teva that are really smushy and comfortable... I could go hiking in them (sometimes I do). They're pretty ugly but I keep on getting them.

I think polka dots are a good look as long as they aren't too costume-y a la Minnie Mouse
