I actually bough a buttercream colored off the rack party dress from Temperly. Fit perfectly and was cost effective (about $1600 versus $5000). Also I can wear it again!

Old navy isnt bad. I wouldnt buy stuff for my self there, but I do buy pretty much 99% of my sons clothes there. They are cheap, well made and very cute/trendy. He is one and the kids pajamas are always awesome graphic prints - so 1970's. The jeans are better washes than I have seen when shopping for myself at Barneys...plus I can spend $75 and he gets like 20 things.... old navy is great for kids.

No publisher that I have EVER worked for would have rocked any of those outfits. Clients would never take them seriously. Not to mention most female publishers are over the age of 40, and keep it classic with one trendy piece.

Actually this was proposed ages ago - and those in the know, know that Mary Alice has very little to do with SPIN these days. Having worked at spin (and closely with MA at spin) I can assure you that she actually said that both Hedi and Karl Lagerfeld would never shoot for the mag... well one down ...

These socks are actually by Trumpette - they are the girl version of the "Johnny's". If your shopping for a baby girl the mary jane ones are much cooler. I buy these for my son all the time, but at 25 bucks a box they are a bit pricey. They also sell them online at Kitson.com in the kids section.
