I like the Marc pair. But no matter how much they cost, jellies (and other clear plastic shoes) always end up gunky by the end of the day. And as they are conveniently transparent, the ick is fully visible. TMI, I know, but don't pretend it hasn't happened to you.

The first pic inspires bad puns, like: "Daria really takes the bum out of beach bum!"
Seriously, doesn't that look a little strange?

The "unknown chiffon wonderland" in question is Austria. Not that it matters.
And I'm pretty sure the reason Isla's wearing that eyesore is because the Shopaholic costuming staff told her to. Criticizing her for that would be like knocking America Ferrera for something Ugly Betty wore.

Men wanted to sleep with her BECAUSE she was wearing Lanvin? I find that really strange. I love Lanvin, but---- it's always struck me as one of those strictly for the girls lines. Like Marni, and Dries Van Noten, and some Prada. That is to say, bafflingly unsexy to men, yet irresistible for women. And not in a sexual way, either, but in a purely sartorial sense.

Guest 6:30 ---- It's not an exact match, but try Coco Pink (by Chanel, naturellement!)
As for me, I'd like to know what color and brand her lipstick is in shot four.
Additionally I would like all of the clothes promptly sent to my house. UPS them, FedEx them, DSL them, whatever. Just make sure they're in my closet by this weekend.

Touchy touchy, Lala.
As long as Madonna strives to keep herself in the public eye, her public actions (such as a conspicuous 50 calorie "lunch" in a restaurant) will be a part of the public domain.
And I wish Madonna would eat something (more): if she insists on being on the cover of magazines, she should spare us the sight of her yicky concave thighs and haggard visage.

Miss Balmain grew on me. I thought it was slightly old-fashioned at first (it debuted in '67) but it quickly grew on me.

Olatz. That deep a red does not flatter Kidman's chalkiness tone and dishwater blond hair. Also, my perception of the prototypical YSL femme is sultry, tan, and slightly exotic looking. Bianca Jagger being the prototype.
And yes, I know that Karen Elson totally made it work in her campaign for them a few years back, despite her pallid skin tone. But that's because Elson is magical.

He's extremely talented. Too bad about that personality of his.
The Times of India story which he posted on is a good example. He told a reporter he paid a certain -- exorbitant for Indians, cheap for westerners-- amount for a bottle of essential oil, and got super pissed at her when she changed his words so that it made him look like he wasn't taken advantage of quite as badly. Stupid move on the reporter's part, but Sart displayed a bullheaded, touristy ignorance as to why she changed it.....He couldn't understand that she was actually trying to protect his image.
Also, his tendency to only shoot the very thin, often at angles that make them look thinner still (in particular, a certain whimsical asian woman comes to mind), and then act offended when people question the choice (or wonder why he never chooses to shoot the over-a-size-4 well dressed --- they do exist, folks!)
In comparison, these instances make the so called "makeover fiasco" seem like not quite as big of a deal, at least to me.
I'll still keep visiting the site, tho. One can't deny he's got a great eye for detail.

Guest 10:41:
Chalk-, or milk-, white skin can be beautiful. Karen Elson, Dita Von Teese, Rose McGowan: these are just three examples.
I just think this shade of red is wrong on Nicole, especially with her hair dyed this shade. It is NOT her natural hair color, and it makes her look washed out and, honestly, rather sickly.
I also don't think paler skin needs to be championed quite so much. All the top girls, cept Chanel Iman, are pale as pale can be.
I hate the tanorexic look, I do.
But I think Olatz is naturally dusky and olive toned in her complexion. Much like my own mother, who does not tan, but always looks it. It's a characteristic of Mediterranean, semitic, and Hispanic origin, which unfortunately seems to be thought of as less classy in the world of fashion (and the media in general).
And don't even pretend to know what I mean by the word "exotic".

100 to 105? Wow, seeing it, actually seeing it written.....kind of shocking. I figured at at least 5'7' she would have been fluctuating between 110 and 115, maybe 120. No one over 5'5' and the age of 13 should weigh 100-105 pounds.
I don't care if you "just have a really high metabolism", there is a line and being sent home for weighing 105 lbs crosses it.

Why Why WHY must you insist on reporting on these nobodies? Patrige, Montag, Conrad, et al.....
Can't we send them all to Fashion Nuremberg and sentence them to fashion death for their heinous crimes against, yes, fashion? Because their particular brand of "californian chic" (or whatever overcooked blurb you will) is so incredibly lacking in substance and imagination that, by way of its bland inoffensiveness, it offends my exceedingly delicate sensibilities.

No offense, but what 'certain attitude' is she giving off, exactly? "Smoking is awesome, even though it hurts one's health"? If that's an attitude, it's one which I give off just as gracefully every day, several times a day.
I laughed out loud when they referred to the cigarette (indirectly) as a "prop".
All in all, guest 1:20 is right. This is a really stupid quotation, possibly the stupidest one I've ever heard regarding modelling. I'm gonna give the editors the benefit of the doubt and say they found it too ridiculous not to post.
