well, nobody in italy knows her, that's for sure. thus said, i had the "pleasure" to meet this girl and she is one of the most unpleasant people I have ever met. I don't think it's a choice that goes well with the whole Vogue Italia's concept of not being at the celebs'feet and just there to please an audience (they do plenty of that with design houses and ads), but I'm waiting to get my copy before I judge, maybe the accompanying interview (if there's any) will shed some light on this poor choice...

I agree with #6: this cover is so graphically refreshing! I love that they did that....

It's more like five weeks, so you can enjoy the shows all the way to Milan without feeling guilty for missing your guilty pleasure!

I really liked the cover, but what I've seen so far is nothing breathtaking...I'm looking forward to see the magazine next week, hopefully it will be better..I am still not impressed by the list of "icons" on the cover: same old, same old. I was kinda hoping Katie had selected some new, fresh, amazing talent/people out of the british scene...but what I've seen so far is nothing new, all the faces you see o all the magazines these days...

trying too hard, didn't like the juxtapositions of materials, and not even the attitude of the show. Attitude in Wang's collections seems to be everything, and I couldn't get any from the photos. Not even anything new, or never seen: at least with his past collections he gave a new image of the young woman, and I thought that was what made him special.

they always seem to have the worst, miserable-looking choice of models. but god, the clothes never fail to amaze...

No idea who the editor was, but i seriously loved the show! Definitely one of the least boring of the lot (not to mention the little 3D glasses diversion. i was happy).
are you guys headed to Milan?

she is fieeeerce on the catwalk.
no, seriously, I've never given her a second look on editorials and i ditched her i-D cover - which was apparently the only one available last time i checked - but I instantly fell in love with her at Vivienne Westwood RedLabel...

In Milan, Kate Lanphear was a second-row regular, and at the men's shows I have seen Giovanna Battaglia (stylist for L'Uomo Vogue) second row.
Wanna hear a funny story: in London, at Aquascutum, I was left out with this Italian Vanity Fair stylist, who was standing at Aquascutum (barely made it through the door), front Row at Paul Smith, and various different seatings (or standings) at all other shows.
I wish I could spend a day in a PR's head. It must be entertaining!

I like the Pop cover better.
To join the Tavi debate, I ust admit I never really warmed up to her. I have been following her blog for a long time and always found her slightly annoying. I felt glad for her when she got to meet the Mulleavy sisters, I enjoy some of the pictures she posts, but I sometimes wonder why anyone should be interested in what a 13-year-old has to say about her day at school or her holidays etc. I think we are getting to a creepy stage of internet celebrity.
A few months ago I was compiling a list of young fashion bloggers for a feature I was working on, and she refused to be interviewed, posting a note on her blog short thereafter where she declared that what she was doing was just for her own entertainment and at 12 she "didn't need to be on a bunch of fashion magazines". I admired her for her seriousness and maturity, thank god she's not just another celebrity wannabe.
Things have definitely changed in six months for her, and she now buys Tsumori Chisato socks and Chalayan dresses she admits she'll never wear, she travels the world to be on the cover of some of the most anticipated magazine issues of the year and I cannot understand how it all changed so suddenly. It scares me a bit to be honest.

Way to long for Hilary: she should go for mini-anything, she has a lovely figure even if not stick thin.
Anna on the other hand rocks it. Hands down.

As many commenters say, I'd save my money now and spend it there: Topshop is really amazing as they say, and the array of markets/small designers boutiques/selfridges/charity shops make shopping there amazing..Plus, if you take the essentials with you you can buy the stuff as you need it (you will probably need hunter wellingtons, but as the weather changes constantly, god knows what else you'll need), and saving money before your departure will allow you to splurge on the amazingness that is London shopping!
