be careful about soy milk. it has high amounts of estrogen that can cause hormonal problems. i was drinking a lot of soy (in jamba juice) and i was starting to feel like i was getting hot flashes.......stopped drinking soy, and that stopped too. think about drinking rice milk...........lol sorry i just had to tell you about this.
soy formula also has been in the news lately as causing young girls to develop earlier...

sure leia. i have also been meeting more and more female vegetarians that are avoiding soy because of possible cyst issues and so forth. unfortunately, it is not the miracle product that the food industry makes it out to be. just google "soy danger." it is in small doses from everything from chocolate (soy lecithin) to processed foods so it is not about avoiding it entirely as it is to just be aware of the dangers of having soy milk constantly.

Oy, when doesn't this happen?! I am finding that a lot of classless stylists also just return the worn samples w/o washing them in general, so when you go to showrooms to pull lingerie or swim you have to do a crotch looksee to make sure.
p.s.
happy hanukkah!

omg that is very very disgusting. i would rather a model get her period on clothes than deal with a druggy model who is an idiot and craps her pants.

you are right. the low slung belt and the low slung jeans in general emphasize how long her torso is.

i think miu miu is amazing, but even then she is too much of an icon to stick in a fashion campaign, unless it benefits others somehow. her lineage is too precious.

Guest 7:43pm you are completely missing the point.
And I think it would be a great idea to protest on Canal St. How angry would those sellers be!
Those tourists have no idea what they are supporting.....

I used to use Cetaphil but they are still guilty of animal testing. I use the $4 Aveenu oatmeal senstive skin moisturizing bar and it is lovely.

Damnit, I am wrong. Johnson & Johnson products (neutrogena, aveeno, lubriderm, etc.) do test on animals. I hate this shit. If anyone knows of a fragrance free, inexpensive line that is good for sensitive skin, give me a shout. Oy vey!!!!

Ugh, ok I am definately a crazy poster. I stopped using Kiehls after finding out that they have certain ingredients (my beloved ultra facial moisturizer has cancer causing ingredients other evil things.)
And no, I can't avoid all products that have awful ingredients, but skin ones I am really trying hard to as your body absorbs them.
I think I have too much caffeine in my system....

I agree with the posters above. Just another post, slamming Peta. I am sick of the anti peta rambling myself. And the whole "women are degraded when they are dressed as slutty cops for peta" nonsense. This is a passionate group of people who are trying to help animals. End of story. I suggest that everyone go out and protest for a cause and try to make a difference in this world. Not just buying shopping totes. This business can suck the reality out of you. This is why I got into rescue. To balance out the bullshit and make a difference in this world that I could see right in front of my face. Do something.
