Since Isla Fischer is British (or Austrailan?) I assumed the character Becky would be British/have an accent. I'm disappointed they're not being true to the book (which actually isn't about trying to work at a fashion magazine).

Just last week I scored a shrunken Phillip Lim blazer at Nordstrom Rack -- normally $600, got it for $60!!

So odd you mention this because for the last week I've been sick and having a Buffy marathon, which lead me to think about leather pants, and then I watched the new SMG movie Suburban Girl, in which she wears a pair of skinny leather pants and they look amazing -she wears them in replacement of jeans and they work.
I already wear a leather pencil skirt from Laundry occasionally, so I don't think skinny leather pants would be out of the question, as long as the leather is thin and not bulky and doesn't create that sound as I walk (like in the old SNL "Leather Store" skits)

JUICY IS NOT JUST TRACKSUITS & TACKY T-SHIRTS.
They have some adorable preppy/lady-like jackets, blazers, dresses, blouses, usually with a '60s vibe. I have an amazing Juicy jacket - black with gold anchor buttons, peter pan collar, 3/4 length sleeves, mid-thigh length -- I get sooo many compliments on it and people can't believe it's Juicy.
My cousin is friends with the original designers and the tracksuits was just the way they hit it big and got noticed, it's not what they're totally about

And I read a really interesting article about how a year ago Kelly Cutrone said Lauren Conrad was a bad intern who no initiative and she would never hire her. But she doesn't mind using her show for publicity obviously...
