if that's her strategy, it's a great one. between the commercial and her face print on the clothes, she's put herself in more teenagers' closets than any mention in teen vogue can give her. although i have to mention: the blonde wigs aren't in the target print ads, which are probably more ubiquitous and noticeable than the lookbook photos.

wear whatever color you want, but please don't choose a strapless. if i see one more strapless dress at a wedding, whether it be the bride's or the bridesmaids', i will vomit.

i'd be upset too. that's like if someone took a copy of your signature and put it on something tacky for the public to buy. it's your name, and it's the way that you write your name!
that shirt is really hideous. it looks like someone ate something from pearl paint, a newstand and shopbop, and then vomited on a t-shirt.

company pr will send these releases to get included in the gossip columns, because it gets the name of their product out. that's why you'll read ridic items in usweekly, pagesix, etc. that'll namedrop celebs in the same line as a brand of alcohol that's sponsoring the event.

that's bizarre -- i have that princess tam-tam bathing suit, got it at clearance last year at printemps and never expected to see it anywhere until now. why is it in spreads now, a year after it was on clearance in paris?

i saw a hipster dude trying on the purple floral ones at opening ceremony last week. i was half-pleasantly surprised that he was being adventurous, half-grossed out and questioning his sexuality. and 100% ashamed of myself for not being more open about it.

michelle obama = NOT a soccer mom, not even remotely.
i think she's done a wonderful and deliberate job using minority young designers. that said, i don't love the dress on her but i don't hate it either; at least she went for a younger style than i thought she'd go for. i do think the color was unfortunate but at least she's not wearing black or navy. her skin would look so wonderful in bright colors like fuschia, chartreuse, purple, etc. -- pretty much the colors she dresses malia and sasha in for the inauguration!

they may not be genuine chanel buttons. i've seen chanel buttons sold at M+J trimming.
maybe instead of going after these smalltime designers who are being creative with the stock they find at local craft stores, go after the stores that's giving them the materials to counterfeit.
neither of them are right, but in this situation you know which came first.

i use 100% jojoba oil as a facial moisturizer, part-time body oil and hair conditioning oil. really couldn't be any greener! (although color wise, it is yellow).
i've used kiss my face and avalon organics shampoos+conditioners, which are about $8 a pop and available at target or whole foods. i recommend them, esp. avalon conditioner, which didn't leave my hair feeling as greasy as the kiss my face did.
i also love dr. bronner's liquid soap as a body cleanser, and trader joe's own line of toothpastes+deoderants, which is about $2 cheaper than tom's of maine!
on a whole, most of the organic/green stuff that i use is only about $2-4 more expensive than the regular drugstore stuff that i used to use. i've tried the more expensive stuff at sephora, and i've found that the quality isn't there AND it's not as organic/SLS-free/paraben-free as the store markets.
i think megan's recommendations are definitely overpriced, considering there's cheaper alternatives.

i realize the quirk in these is that they're handwritten, but for christ's sakes, if you want guesses -- make the writing legible! it took me 5 minutes to figure out "dish washer" wasn't "disu wasner"

if they fit me, i'd totally wear them, and i'm a girl. sure beats having to fight femboys for dior homme suits circa hedi slimane.
