Great pinning skills by the stylist... and the bottoms are different, notice how they have belt loops in the catalog pic?
But overall, the new catalog is kinda hot... love some of the flats, and the casual tops look OK, too.
I heart catalog shopping, btw....

FWD: yes!! I hate it when people use the word "classy" to describe something. It's always a red flag to me that something is going to be oh-so pedestrian and borderline tacky....
And I felt so bad for Christian... that girl's taste levels were AWFUL. And I especially loved Nina's face when she told her she wanted even MORE lace than Christian put on!!!! I have a feeling that was the only thing that saved Christian from being eliminated....

Hi Fashionista loves... just one note:
Can you please please stop giving away so many Project Runway spoilers? It really kind of sucks to have the show be ruined in advance (see #2)-- I had no idea what the challenge was, and now no surprise. Thanks.
Also, with yesterday's weak spoiler alert... if you're going to list SPOILER, give it a few more lines before you go ahead and blab everything... so ANNOYING.
Sorry to grouse, but I love the site too much for you to keep harshing my PR mellow... otherwise, I might have to skip ALL of your PR posts!

So outraged that Prada has not featured ONE model of color on the runway in TEN YEARS....
...until today.
As I said on another blog, I am totally boycotting Prada and Miu Miu until a model of color is featured in a major ad campaign. So gross.

Why can't SHE take over American Vogue, and make it into a magazine that I would buy, not just pick up, heft, flip thru and put back on the pedicure chair and my local nail salon?!?!?!

I don't get the Gwen Stefani adulation... she always looks so bridge and tunnel to me... the drag queen makeup, the over-drawn lips, the cheetah prints.
However, her husband is hot and her son is a cutie.

I agree with the other commenters... I think Faran's comment about Jewish models is extremely narrow-minded, stupid, and undermining to the importance of this Italian Vogue issue.
I'm hoping that Vogue Italia takes a huge risk and does something beautiful and classic, instead of treating the Black models like some sort of "exotic jewel" or in an animalistic fashion.
The fashion industry has a long way to go, but I'm glad this step is being taken....

I've been SO BLESSED to not ever have to wear a suit to work.... maybe I look for those types of jobs.
I think that suits would kind of smoosh down my personality on the job, and luckily, that's why I have cool jobs... my employer is paying me for my unique point of view.
So for as long as I can (forever?), I'm going to avoid wearing any sort of suit.... unless someone can hook me up with a vintage Le Smoking!
