Halle Berry, and Drew Berrymore aren't stick thin either, and both have faces for makeup. As great as Jessica's body is her face isn't that great she's adverage at best..she has small squinty eyes, large teeth, and a big forehead...her cheek bones are great though. And yes she does look older than her 20something years of age.

As a customer I love Nordstrom's return policy although I've never returned anything there I know friends who have. I had a friend come return shoes she wore for two years and the heel broke and she took them back with no recipt and not box! I was ashamed and amazed all at once. But if employees know this then they should not take the job.
I do hope this forces Nordstrom to at least consider letting employees keep their commission if the item is returned 60 + days after purchase. Seriously people wearing stuff and taking it back is just shady and employees shouldn't have to suffer for it.

I'm a Julianne Moore fan too, but I don't think she is the most glamorus women on screen, and that is one of the reasons I like her she is simple yet uniquely beautiful. While I barely knew who she was in this over I do love love love it, because isn't that what fashion and beauty is all about doing diffrent things playing around with looks etc.

I'm a Julianne Moore fan and for all reason you stated that you "love" her I do too...she's a simple and unique beauty. But I do love this cover, it's kinda what a fashion/beauty cover is suppose to do, make you look twice, make you look harder and make you interested. Hell we are sitting here discussing it therefore the job of UK's Vouge is done! And it's not going to kill her to go ultraglam sometime!

While I do have some high priced beauty items i.e. NARS, Kiehls etc, I also mix and match with drugstore items so by no means am I a beauty snob. My favorite mascaras is by Maybelline, and I noticed that L.A. Girl ( 1 dollar to 2.50) and E.L.F (1 dollar) nailpolish last wayyyyy longer than the more exspensive brands.

These two shoes don't look that much alike. The ankle strap, open toe, and platform is all it has in common but so does about 1000 other shoes. The heel is clearly diffrent even the front of the shoe is diffrent, not to mention the heel/platform of the Pollini shoe doesn't match the shoes leather. This may not even be an inspiration!

While he may have a point it's masked in douchiness. Seriously calling someone a "fat lesbian" is just not cool. And the fashion world promoting either extreme is so stupid.
After seeing Beth Ditto for the first time today, I started wanting to watch all my John Waters films again...and I'm now longing for Divine!

LOL at people posting in this story as a guest...really j/k? But seriously I think that people should be able to post comments as guest and shouldn't feel forced to sign up to a blog to make a comment here and there. However I have a problem with people who I like to call cowards who post negative items or nasty remarks but remain unnamed. If you are big and bad enough to say something at least put a "name" to it. Bloggers (myself included) shouldn't be doing nameless post at all especially seeing that it could be potentially damaging to people, it's rude and not good journalism!

I agree with the double standard issue, and I think it's a little shady. My main issue with this new ruling is it's really vauge, really how will it be regulated? My fear is small blogs like mine will suffer companies will no longer want to deal with the "little guy" for fear of fines etc. If I get a product for free and talk about it on my blog I always give a nod and say thank you ( my way of disclosing) I also don't feel an obligation to write a review that is "I love it" " this is the best ever" because I got it for free either.
The thing that makes Magazines/Blogs (Web log/Diary) diffrent is for the most part a Blog is someones sole opnion and to assume they are writing a good/bad review of something because they got it for free is silly.

#7 I think people who actually blog have already stated that some of us already disclose so the point your trying to make is a generalized one about all bloggers ....and all bloggers are not created equal. Again a blog is a weblog, a diary that is open for public view and if someone is to read MY diary and then go out and buy it because I like again because "I" like it regardless of if it's free or purchased by me is up to that individual. I like many other blogs I read have a disclaimer at the bottom of it stating that this blog is my "personal opnion".

While I agree that LA "Fashion" week is well... BAD that doesn't mean there should NEVER be another one, I think they should wait and figure out how to make it better before putting on a new one. The Fashion sun does NOT rise and fall in NYC so the elitist folks need to get over themselves, there are stylish fashionable people everywhere I just happened to think they are in the SF Bay Area but like you I'm biased. BTW there are celebs at all fashion shows now (okay not d list but still celebs).

Ummm 45 buck, not in this or any other life time. I'll give it to them they are cute, but this piece is definately a DIY item. Especially during the holidays when you can get very tiny bows like this and find gold goody hair pins in any Target/Walmart, add a little bit of glue and wahlah!
