I AM A SOLO SHOPPER. It is not a game. Even when I shop with a friend, I will leave them to do my thing. I need to be able to move swiftly when I see what I want. Luckily I am also a small person, so I can dip under and around people to get what I want. I think people know I am dead serious about my shopping when they see me coming because they usually move out of my way. HA!

I think that this haircut is a big improvement from the soccermom bob she's been wearing. I think that this style is much more age appropriate and definitely more glam.

Actually when I saw this ad I thought she looked like Faye Dunaway in Bonnie and Clyde. She looks amazing, I stared at this phote for like 10 minutes. Kate at her best for sure.

I do buy fast fashion, but I don't necessarily view the things that I buy as disposable clothing. More things than one would think at Forever 21 are made of silk. I look at the fabric,
classicness and construction of the garment to decide if it is disposable or not. If it is disposable I don't buy it. I do agree that when it comes to shopping, quality over quantity is best. I don't buy cheap bags or shoes no matter how cute and I definitely try to avoid cheap coats. I think you can score some great wool & silk pieces( if you take your time looking) that will last a couple of years at stpres like UO and H&M and F21

I think a girl with a good, well proportioned shape can wear a wide range of jeans. Isn't the point of having a denim wardrobe that you have several options that suit the look you are going for that day. Let us remember that skinny jeans aren't newly invented. Models have been wearing stovepipes for years. Cigarette length will always be chic. Skinny jeans are a much neater option if you are trying to dress up your denim. Boot cut isn't a cureall. I personally think that it looks very 1999 when people try to dress up a bootcut jean (no reference to Prince). As long as you choose your denim to fit with the overall aesthetic you are trying to convey per outfit, then you should always look stylish.

I did pick up on his fear of hemming the dress when Tim approached him in the workroom. However as a desinger COMPETING in a COMPETITION, he should have, perhaps, chosen a fabric that would be more forgiving should construction issues arise. If one wants to win, one cannot afford for little things like what happened to Kevin to happen. Especially when on the previous three seasons, so many people have bit the dust for the exact same reason. Maybe Kevin doesn't watch Project Runway.

I subconsciouslly dress in all black because most clothing looks best in black. When I see others dressed in all black, it doesn't look like they are sheilding themselves. In fact I think the direct opposite. You have to let your style and personality show in the details rather than in the color.
An all black outfit that oozes personality is wonderful in my opinion.
So for the author to say she was fearful and sad I have to ask: What the heck was this lady wearing?

Hallelujah! I've been wanting to try Paige denim, but because the regular styles look to tall on the rack for me (I am barely over 5'1") I had to pass them by for the usual suspects.
Now that I know they are available for the tiny crew, I shall purchase.

Ricky is definitely a bit unstable, but I liked his design. Amy Winehouse, pre-crack, was definitely an exemplification of what people love about 1960's fashion.
So if Ricky drew some inspiration from her revival of the look I don't think it really had too much to do with "Amy Winehouse" the brand.
Sweet Pea's dress was the best. Totally embodying everything I love about the '70's and the construction was beautiful. I almost forgot it was made of denim.
I hate Rami!!!!
Christian needs to leave the jackets alone for a while. I attend FIT and the whole jacket thing that he keeps doing is sooo "typical desing student".
I laughed hysterically when I saw Victorya's trench, because I knew instantly that she was going home. Perhaps this is some kind of design karma coming back to her for the way she treated Ricky on their team challenge.
Jillian was tired and I think that explains why she didn't come up with something better. But I still love her.
I hate Rami!!!!!!!!

A. Hepburn originally wanted Givenchy to do all the looks for the movie, however he was extremely busy. Edith Head did most of the costume designs with Givenchy providing one gown for the movie.

How delightfully fabulous! I find it interesting that fashion-types usually say things like this. I say things like this all the time. I agree there are more stylish ways to go. I would want to look amazing even in the end. Trains are not conducive to that.

Okay...Love the purple mini dress the most and everything else except the beige pants, looks pretty good. Especially nice to see purple is still a hot color, as I was justing ranting and raving about all the benefits of purple.

I have a pair of white boots that are a little bit go-go dancer but just as much equestrian. I don't wear them often as I adhere to the Vow of Cleanliness, but when I do I feel really cool and like a member of fashion society; you know unafraid to take risks in my outfit.

Any lover of fashion knows that these risks are part of the fashion and definitely the fantasy aspect of fashion. I loved the sequin pasties but they were editorial. There is a major difference between editorial fantasy and real life. I admire that she is willing to take risks but I think that would have been better for a photoshoot not the club. People fail to realize that once these paparazzi-exposed fashion choices reach the public, there are always going to be people who think it is a good idea to do it too; the problem is that it is often teenagers or worse people with really bad bodies. I would rather none of them attempt some of these looks because I surely don't want to see it on either. As for those of you who think along the feminist lines....while the ideal of feminism is wonderful we live in the real world where men are lustful creatures and some are crazy. Women have to be cautious in protecting themselves and that includes wardrobe choices, sorry to say. The average girl wearing something like that does not have security guards.

All I can say is BEAUTIFUL. This is what needs to be seen so that the definition of beauty and glamour can be expanded to include BLACK PEOPLE.

I don't believe this is a reflection of a double standard...it is a reflection of homophobia.
I as a woman, who is totally straight, prefer to see a naked woman over a naked man any day. Women are beautiful, men bodies can be gorgeous but on average I don't really want to see a naked man. D. Beckham is about all I can handle (W anyone?)
Back to the Rihanna thing, I still feel that while within her rights to dress however she wants to, it wasn't her best fashion moment and could have done without it.

MSN needs to sit down. They don't know what the hell they are talking about. First off, I think one should dress according to their genre. I am thirty but I look like I am barely able to drink legally. If I actually wore
the clothes that were supposedly appropriate for my age, I would look really stupid. I think one should dress in the way that best compliments their look.
Anyway getting fashion advice from MSN is like getting fashion advice from your school principal.

Ok, so I left NYC to visit the parents in Mass. I did get some relatively good finds here at the H&M that I would have never found at H&M in NY; everything was $10.00. And as an aspiring designer, I got a $200.00 dressform for $89.00 at the sewing supply store. I got some great leopard print pony skin/black leather peep-toes on clearance at Marshalls for $20.00. And my Vera Wang dress (for Kohl's, can't afford real Vera yet, although it is a fabulous )for $53.00. Overall, I didn't get any Prada for $9.00 like I wanted to, but I am happy.
