I like that the runner up from The Fashion Show on Bravo had both the strong shoulder AND pieces without shoulders combined in her collection. This all before SS2010 collections went down the runway. Good going, girl. You might have a chance...whatever your name is.

I 100% agree with Guest #20!! It's TELEVISION. We all know how The City is in the same vein as The Hills which is far from true. Why people still actually seem upset, offended or enraged by what goes on is in itself upsetting. I'd KILL to work for People's Revolution, DVF or Elle and these are all jobs these girls seem to take with a grain of salt but again...it's all for TV. If there are people reading this who thought shows like The Hills and The City were where it's at, it's not. I had an unpaid internship in NYC and while it wasn't nearly as glamorous as these TV shows, it was to me because I was living a dream of working in the fashion industry. I loved it which is why I want to continue working in it. I'm not gonna pout because of someone else's lucky break on a TV show and neither should anyone else.

I want to know what's going on because fashion is an industry I want to work in. It would be damn stupid of me to only want to stay in the "Wide-eyed Admirer" box if I expect to land a job in the industry.
For the rest of the world, they take what they see at face value. My mom watched the last season of ANTM when Tayana [sp?] won and she was totally rooting for her. My mom now how no idea what the hell that girl is up to [neither do I but still]. She likes that show for entertainment value. There's a WHOLE other side to fashion she has no idea about and probably never will because it's not something she really cares too much about.
I think that's how it generally is. People who love fashion may watch these shows to get a kick, etc. but that doesn't mean just because it's out there, the magic from it has gone away.
PS: the magic is in what you make it...if that makes sense.

I think anyone who watched the show knew that Taylor was going to leave EVENTUALLY but I guess I didn't expect it so soon with how Season 2 ended.
Best of luck to her. She was always my favorite character on the show!!

^^ I literally stopped and said "OH MY GOD. THE GIRL FROM OHIO IS WEARING UGGS ON THE RUNWAY." That broke my heart as I was rooting for my fellow Ohioan.
I loved Tim's meltdown. I'm sure it would have been more fab if he completely lost it by shaking a makeup artist and throwing powder up in the air before storming out onto the runway himself presenting the 1 look Tim Gunn collection.

I read it was rumored she MIGHT walk but kudos to her for actually doing it! Cannot wait for this to air!!
I was depressed all day yesterday knowing the show was taping. A friend passed along one of his contact's info to me last week telling me how this contact could get me a ticket to the taping. I couldn't because I'm in a diff. state and had to work.
Sadness!!
