Wide-Leg Jeans with Heels?

I know there have beens posts about wide leg jeans in the past, but I have a specific question.

I recently purchased a pair of Goldsign wide leg orchid jeans. I plan on wearing them with a pair of platforms, but the bottoms of the jeans just skim the ground, covering the shoe completely. They are so wide you can barely see my feet.

Does this look silly? I feel if they were any shorter they would look too short! any thoughts on the proper length of a wide leg jean with heels? Thanks!

those dresses are a little too close for comfort, but then again there are only so many ways you can reinvent the little black dress, or so i tell myself. i am consistently amazed by the blatant ripping off that goes on, and i think it is getting worse among. in the end, most everything in fashion has been done before, but it still feels wrong. i wonder which dress cost more?!

a few weeks ago i (rather ignorantly) purchased this keffiyeh-esque scarf from isabel marant...does anyone know the one i'm talking about? she had it on almost every look in her spring '08 show. i haven't worn it yet, mainly because i can't seem to be able to walk down the street here in boston without seeing some version of it. however i always like to wear a scarf and finding one in a light weight fabric was so appealing...if anyone knows the one i'm talking about will they let me know their opinion, is this particular one too trendy?!

miss min-k was prolly looking for inspiration on style.com and figured nobody would make the connection. It is a great print, so there is no wonder why both chose to use it in the first place, but those designers all know exactly what they are doing!

i think i read that most of the fabrics are organic cottons and linens...i love rogan! i met him in boston and the whole company is really awesome!

i have been trying to come up with a valid reason not to watch the hills and fashionista's boycott is the perfect excuse. now i can spend more time coming up with my own cute outfits instead of cringing at everything i see on the show! p.s. gossip girl fashion is waaay better
