Correct me if I'm wrong but all this brouhaha about resort shows, I remember when resort was always about presentations and it was only in the last 3 seasons that there was a circus around it. So it's just reverting to what it was, no?

I think it's that thing pretty, young people do which is all about wearing ugly things just because they can. It's kind of a smug pseudo-ironic, 'look, I can still look cute wearing this piece of crap' two-fingers up to everyone else. The problem is when everyone else tries to copy it. (Ref: legging-jeans, Ugg boots, acid-wash denim etc)
