With your new London boy does that mean you'll be listing London sales too now?

But who *is* of that kind of caliber nowadays?
We don't view actresses in the same way in our celebrity obsessed culture. I don't think there's anyone - not even Gwyneth - who you could draw a comparison to.

It's called TK Maxx in the UK, but I've never seen any of these amazing bargin pieces everyone else seems to find. Maybe I just don't have the patience to pull through racks and racks of hideous clothes to find them.

Uh, some of us are actually already *in* London. The whole world (and entire readership of Fashionista) doesn't live in the US.

I like that these celebs aren't bowing to the pressure to be "perfect" and have braces just to make other people happy.

Guest # 1 obviously some people can afford then, and price shouldn't be an excuse for copying someone else's designs.
However, I agree with an above comment that this really doesn't qualify as an 'adventure in copyright'.
High Street stores are always going take influence from high-end designers, this is nothing novel or newsworthy. Where it's a Steve Madden-esque total copy however, is a different story.

What is all this "people can't afford to pay those prices nonsense"? If you can't afford it why are you looking to buy it in the first place? You don't *want* to pay them, which is fine but just own up to it.

$565?
They're on Net-a-Porter for the very barginous £279.
(p.s. I don't wear sneakers, let alone nearly £300 ones)

It's controversial because celebrities of Cheryl Cole's calibre are best left to grace the covers of magazines like Heat, not a fashion magazine (especially when Cheryl isn't even particularly known for her style!).
