I think what goes through most guy's minds about women's clothes is, 'If I say I like it, will I get some?' The actual outfit itself is pretty much irrelevant. Sooo....
If you love an outfit, buy it!
The way a woman feels in an outfit she loves is what determines what's sexy or fabulous about it. Just my opinion...

Love U fashionista!

A croc is a croc no matter what kind of fancy ad you pay for in Vogue or what kind of cheeky copy you try to write for it.
Do they not realize that those who read Vogue would never buy crocs for anything other than gardening or taking out the trash?
I know I'm sounding like an ubersnob here but I don't think I'm the only one.

When I first heard of the SJP line at Steve and Barry, I admit I was skeptical about how they could ethically produce clothes at such a low price. After reading the NY Times article, I feel a little better about them.
Since when have pants at H&M been fourteen dollars?!

They kind of remind me of the point shoes I used to wear in ballet. Unless I'm planning on going up on point in them, they just look painful.

Your photos are great! The ones of Anna in that dress and with those glowing red eyes made me think of Tim Curry in the movie 'Legend'.
That said, I thought that there were some great outfits that reflected the theme of the night(Zac Posen). The rest seemed like more of the same,'my stylist put this together' looks. I was hoping to see more creativity. But maybe you had to be there.

That just proves how out of touch with real fashion the Gap is.
Scott has one of the most relevant fashion blogs out there and having him in their ads would've provided them some much needed credibility.

Much love to the Sart!

The girl just looks healthy and fabulous to me.

That's what I love about the Sart.
The girl in his blog today is no Mike Reno (lead singer of Loverboy).

I've got to start buying French Vogue more.
Their layouts are so much edgier and irreverent. I know they're not for everyone but I just love them.

Now, is that a year's paid lease on a fabulous Mahattan apartment or an apartment a real employee at a fashion mag can afford? Huuuge difference.

Again, loving the French Vogue take on fashion photography.
A little off topic but maybe someone can shed some light...Whenever I say that I often see fashion (including photography)as an art form, some people scoff.
Why is that?

I appreciate that Ali came forth with her experience. I think that so many girls are emulating the emaciated look without understanding the cost to them and their health.
At most of the runway shows I've seen over the past few seasons, I've been shocked at how frighteningly skinny and sickly the girls look. To me, this does not make the clothes look any better. If designers want their clothes to be displayed with no form underneath, they should just use revolving hangers, which is what some of the girls are starting to resemble, actually.
It makes me feel very sad that fashion standards have come to this.
In a perfect world,I believe, fashion should be about empowering women by affording them the luxury of being able to choose what is best for their own style and body type.
It shouldn't be about being 'one stomach flu away from my goal weight'. That's really sick.

PJH: ROTFL!
Other than the blatant PR angle why the hell is this guy 'interning' at any mag?
Is he really going to fetch Starbucks and lunch? C'mon!
This is exactly what drives me nuts about celebs. They get an 'in' for any job that takes the rest of us years and unpaid internships (and all that entails)to get.
Let me guess, he's coming out with a 'clothing line' and thinks that this will buy him some cred, right?

Actually, I like the H81 tank better.
