Cuuuuute! Some fashion is just ridiculously overpriced and under-original. That's when you have to take style in your own hands.

I have a pair and I rock them crazy. Of course, I'm currently in the Fashion Tomb, Washington, D.C., so people look at me as if I am crazy.

Whitney and Lauren=uniquely co-dependent. Can they think independently without having to consult the other or do they share clothes and a brain? P.S. I love WhitWhit!

RE: 6. "Hey Audrina, they only want to be friends with you to get back at me!" Is Lauren really self absorbed, or just Machiavellian?

I honestly think Audrina is too dense to notice Lauren was taking a dig at her.

The real question is why would VF's demographic of readers care to read about a 15-year-old Disney star. Has Graydon Carter gone senile? What a lapse of judgment. And regarding the "bedsheet scandal", the girl's craving it bad, as most 15 year olds are. Own it. BFD.

Iman is most regal, but she's been on more than enough covers. I wish editors would let the newbies shine and enjoy a solo cover for a change. Give us fresh meat!

Can we discuss the REAL issue at hand: the gorgeous black models are not featured in VOGUE ITALIA's ads? Sure the cover-to-cover spreads are appeasing and may quiet a few. The art direction of them are largely uninspiring. AND, I am boycotting this issue. (From looks of it, I am the only one) Here's why: I think the true measure of the industry's acceptance and embrace of models of color is to book them for more major ad campaigns. That is where the $$$ lies. Until then, gimmicks like this, are just press-savvy gimmicks with little to no impact on the problem of racism in the fashion modeling industry. Nice try VOGUE ITALIA, but I will not buy the HYPE. That's all.

Genevieve Jones is the ish. The perfect muse. Because even without speaking a word, she makes the dresses she wears come alive in her photos on the fashion pages.

I think hers is a case of being in the right place at the right time, possessing the intangible IT factor, maintaining a size 0 frame, wisely befriending designers and stylists so she can get the look on loan for free and keeping a sugar daddy quietly tucked away from the media eyes. The end.
