I completely agree- that had an unnecessary level of condescension

to #3 - I bought the no frizz styling cream by Living Proof. Everyone at Sephora was raving about it so I gave it a shot... sadly, it did nothing to tame my frizz and left my hair feeling like straw.

Unless someone else knows a trick to using this stuff, I found it to be a huge waste of my $24

to #s 12 & 15... how do you apply it?... or maybe a better question, what kind of hair do you have? My hair is a hybrid of wavy and curly... and its pretty thick.

I'm trying to figure out what you guys are doing different.

Not gonna lie- I'm really worried about the integrity of the show now that its on Lifetime. And this quote sums it up perfectly... minus picking on bigger girls. Not nice

Soooo I googled: This stuff is $85 for just over 1 oz? Kind of pricey... but still intriguing.

Ha! That's fantastic! I miss Julia... she always seemed so smart in her movies.

I'm conflicted between feeling happy and disappointed that my alma mater, Villanova, didn't make the list. If there was a Main Line douche category, we would have won. Hands down.

Even though its not really fashion related, thanks for sharing!

Lily Allen was fun back when she was an individual... "Alright, Still" is a great album. But I'm afraid now she's trying too hard to dig in to Katy Perry's and Lady Gaga's fan base.

I'm not at all preoccupied by what "the press" says as a way to dictate my opinion. So I'm not really sure what your point is #6. Just because everyone else says its fantastic, well gee it must be?

To be honest, this collection didn't seem to have the same wear-ability that I loved last fall and last spring. The photos I saw on style.com of those belted jackets looked incredibly unflattering on Nimue and Hanne. I just didn't get it.

Britt- you were trampled by Perez Hilton?! If so, thats just reason #17868 for me to despise him.

Glad your day got better!

That blue rain jacket is cute! But the rest of the pictures look a little bit out there...at least to me.

Kudos on the Kate encounter.

Which issue of British Vogue is this in? The one with Kate on the cover I presume?

Back when the Sex and the City: The movie came out on DVD, I won a pair of Manolos with a gamepiece in the box... which obviously, I was thrilled about! I was even more thrilled when I found out that manolo's go up to a "US Size 12", since I'm a 11.5-12 depending on the make and material.

When I got the size 42s I requested, they fit more like a US 10.5! I was devastated... had it been slightly snug I would have made due- they're Manolos for crying out loud. But I couldn't even stand in these shoes since they were so small!

Long story short, I'm not going to waste my time on high end brands like louboutin, choo etc. because the sizing is so unreliable!

I can tolerate this as long as its just an editorial. But if she's on the cover, I am canceling my subscription.

After seeing The September Issue, I agree that it was a smart move on Anna's part to place more celebrities in Vogue... but we've reached a point where the preoccupation with celebrity culture seems to be a detriment to the magazine. I really hope we see more models on the cover from now on- to be honest, uber-thin waif types are a welcome change from the fame-obsessed "actresses" that have been featured as of late.

But please post more pictures and articles regarding Jean Shrimpton. She's stunning!

Ok- you guys missed the best quote from that post on Fashionologie:

"I kept saying 'Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me,' because I had to get to the catwalk, but she just kept posing. So I pushed her. It was only a few stairs."

That's hilarious! Love Lara!
