This is the type of "trend" that only elementary school students and out-of-touch suburban mothers will follow. And it's kind of old news: around Christmas time, I was seeing massive displays of disturbingly realistic dog bags at JC Penney and the like.

I don't think I can take seriously a fashion executive who can't walk in heels.

I once shaved my arms, when I was 14 I think. I'm still trying to get over our culture's disapproval of hair anywhere other than your head.

aaaah! I love glitter! I've been saving my jar of wet 'n wild glitter from junior high for when it's ok to wear in public again.

My mom (who's 55) recently decided to go gray, and some lady at her work had the balls to tell her that she shouldn't let it go. My mom's gray, btw, looks great, even with the super grown out highlights she had done months ago.
I think when my time comes, I'll just let it go. Coloring takes so much time and money, both of which at this point I have very little of. Plus, skipping salon coloring will save me from tons of chemical exposure.

I'm so excited about this! BeneTint's always enticed me, but the shade's too orange for my skin.

Some Fashionista readers need to stop watching Mean Girls so often...vicious, vicious, vicious.
I didn't even notice how low-cut the dress was at first. The necklaces are as good as a tank to add a little propriety.
Her jewelry is cluttered. She could have benefited by losing the ring and a bracelet before she left the house.

These remind me of 5th grade when sneakers with a chunky high heel were popular. Why would you want to bring that back?

I am in agreement with zapatosnuevos here. I cannot wait until I am in the position to do this to some bright-eyed intern. But I'd be nice about it, and only pretend to freak out when the cukes touched the PB.

I agree with guest @5:36. Nipples aren't something to be ashamed of.
However, once you've reached that special age where your boobs aren't quite as perky, PLEASE wear a bra, or at least a camisole, especially if you're teaching my bio class and I sit in the front row (YUCK).

Since you're only 16, I'd be worried that your shoe size would change and you wouldn't get very much wear out of your Louboutins. And isn't the point of buying a classic pair of shoes to get a lot of wear out of them?
I'd say buy something less expensive that you can wear to school (since that's where you spend most of your time anyway) and save the Loubs as a congratulatory present for when you get your first "real" job or internship.

I love my J.Crew catalog-just got my new one-but it really does bother me when the "new" catalog is just last month's with a new cover. 1 or 2 a season would be much more appropriate.

I think it's funny that the seller named her store after A Fine Frenzy because she's been so "inpired" by the music. Adventures in copyright, anyone?
