I'm a college student. As long as I'm generally better-dressed than everyone else in a class, no one will notice a few wrinkles. If I need to steam an evening dress, which isn't very often, I use the shower.

the red x is completely degrading; just because the homeless are already low doesn't make it ok. PETA may do wonderful things for animals, but they obviously have no respect for their fellow human beings.

If any of your plans involve dragging a suitcase through the subway, you absolutely must pack as lightly as possible. You'll (probably) be buying a lot there anyway, so be selective with the things you bring along.
