does anyone besides me think she looks 10 lbs heavier (and healthier) back then, than she does now? i feel like she looks almost plump in those photos of her on the catwalk!

i'm from the south and have had to see abercrombie and american eagle wearing high school girls wear these shoes for years. i absolutely hate when girls wear them - the classy girls down here don't wear them unless they're going on the boat. but i love when men wear them - as my husband does.

i think it's steve madden, baker's, then ysl at the bottom.
i have the ones from baker's and they are made well and look so very close to the ysl pair. i really love them.

i have light brown hair, and used revlon frost and glow for years. since it's a frosting kit and not a highlighting kit, it never comes out orange. i know that sounds tacky/old/totally 80's, but it gave the perfect "jennifer aniston" blonde/brown highlights. $10 too!

i'm from/live in the south, and for smaller men, it's the norm to wear shorts above the knee. my dad is 5'9" and has always worn his shorts above the knee. i think it has a lot to do with boating and the need for mobility and to keep cool. down here, seeing shorts like the pic from sartorialist is the norm. however, i get a little annoyed with them. luckily, my husband is 6'7", so he doesn't wear short shorts cause he would look ridiculous!!!

i'm sorry, but i don't think the baker's version of the tribute sandals are knock offs. that's a pretty basic sandal - it's not like it has a freaking logo on it anywhere. i have them in tan and i love them and don't care who people think they're by! no one i know even knows anything about ysl or the tribute sandal. they just think they're cute!

agathe from the old blog style bytes bought knock off balenciaga booties from vs last year. they were the huge ones that mary kate was always seen wearing. i admired agathe for being able to pull those things off! they looked just like the real thing.

loving your pet like a family member makes you say ewe? this post makes me not want to read this blog anymore.
and gucciLIES' post made me just as sick - "I love my dog, but if my sister gets run over by a car, I can't buy a new one." Animals shouldn't be treated like commodities or products.
