I used to go home to Pennsylvania and I used it as a chance to dig things out of my mom'scloset that I wouldn't usually wear in New York (unless I knew in advance it was a night that consisted only of Welcome to the Johnsons or something) -- my mom's early 80s cords, tailored plaid buttondown, puffy mid-80s Lee vest... It wasnt what everyone else was wearing but it felt more appropriate for a trip to the country than wobbling around cornfields in 4 inch heels...

Whoa, calm down, ladies.

First of all, as 9:17 pointed out, all Conde summer interns that go through their program are getting a stipend for the whole summer which equals around minimum wage.

Second, I sincerely doubt that he is taking the place of another intern, I think they just created this pseudo-intern position just for him. I would bet the same number of 20 year old girls will be fetching coffee and calling messengers this summer.

Lastly, I'm surprised at the lack of love for him. If only more pro athletes had taste like him! Check out this profile from October where he talks about loving his black patent leather YSL high-tops etc. ! http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/14/magazine/14wwln-domains-t.html
