Also not weird given that both are owned by Nike.

Kudos to the first poster for articulating why this post rubbed me the wrong way at first glance.
Well, that and the faux contrarian straw man into. Why must so many posts start with airs of solving mysteries that don't exist, correcting hypothetical minomers that were never asserted and drawing connections or parallels that are an irritating stretch at best? Have faith and be confident: the thesis is usually good enough to stand on its own.

The post's inference that the only difference between shopping Target and shoping Net-A-Porter, Barney's Coop and Bluefly is authenticity comes off obnoxiuosly priviliged.

My palestinian-american roomate spotted them at Urban and thought it was hilarous.
Seems a little off-trend for Abercrombie, unless they're trying new ways to court controversy.

Oi! It was the most action packed lunch break in recent memory.
Tons of current season stuff, but of course not the one dip-dyed t-shirt dress I've been vocally coveting :(

Wow I interned with Emily one summer in college. She was intimidatingly fabulous and awesome, but also a really sweet girl.
If her facility for dressing mannequins and scupting paper hair for museum exhibits is any indication, she'll rock the competition.

Gap product has actually been looking really excellent these days. I found myself picking up several outfits at full price(!) over the summer. Like many people who work in the industry, I almost never pay retail, but it was just that good.

Looks like Alexander Wang's good fortune at a La Wintour appearance, was not so lucky for those who aren't as fastidiously punctual.
I hope the sponsors and VIPs don't hold it against him, what elese could have been done?

Wow, I used to love her. She had that fabulous androgynous look. It's crazy to see her with long hair.

Polo may not operate on the same purchase/donation model as Toms but Mr. Lauren has a well established reputation of making philanthropy a huge part of his company.
One need look no further than page 9 of today's Womens Wear for an example.

#10 I'm a blonde and definitely in the Team Leighton camp.
Blake's ok, but doesn't really seem worth the hype.

Lol # 1. You could've also just picnicked for free as I did with my friends. Maybe the NY readership would've appreciated the tip instead of hearing Abby brag. We had an awesome time, met a lot of lovely peeps and even made it on to Getty Images a couple of times. Not bad saving $500pp and chilling in the pleb section.
There's enough exclusivity in fashion without having to exaggerate insider access. LMO.
