WOW...great read! I know nothing about this Billy's place, but feel as though I've been there many times. In fact, I too want to share the exact birthday experience—with Paddington carrying, MIU MIU wearing Sam and all! I'm glad I recently subscribed to your email list and can't wait to read more from newest intern, Brett! =)

Entry: Saleisha Is Really Pretty; Isn't Walking Fashion Week

It’s so unfortunate that these ladies are ridiculed for being ANTM winners. Most of those girls worked very hard to win the title and have shown themselves worthy of the successes that come with it. Now I’m not in the fashion industry, but I am in public relations, have produced a few fashion shows, modeled a little while in college (which in no way compares to a top model!), worked for a top fashion college, and am now venturing into fashion pr, which means I know a little about the industry. Yes, my first impression of Saleisha was “she’s too commercial.” But mid-way through the show, she proved to embody the qualities of both a runway and commercial model. So would someone please explain why all the hatred? Especially to go as far as to call the winners clueless; now that’s just wrong!

Pull the hair back, remove the scarf and alter the sleeves and CE has it—hands down! While I know “we” (yes, I’m including myself) tend to think of MK as a fashion icon, I can’t help but address the fact that she indeed looks like a scary, malnourished waif who while scouring rubbish was fortunate to find a great vintage piece!

when did ferragamo shoes become too expensive to purchase? i've purchased several pairs of ferragamo shoes from dsw, tj maxx and the like for less than 60 bucks! maybe i'm just a bargain shopper [which would explain how i purchased an authentic horsebit hobo for under $700; a new, authentic speedy 30 for like $300; and even an all-leather camel devil for under $100 (that was truly a steal. it's authentic, but was a little used. but not too used for fendi to clean!)]. at any rate, guest 5:14pm you can definitely afford a pair of ferragamo shoes. you'd just have to do a little SOLE searching (yes, the pun was intended...lol!).
