A Change in Shopping Habits

barneys shopping bags.jpgI’m writing an article for my journalism class and I was wondering: With the recession, have any of you changed your shopping habits?

If so, how?

Thanks so much!

I tend to not wear very much makeup in everyday life anyway, so when I go to the beach, if I'm being really ambitious I'll put on some waterproof mascara. Otherwise it's lipbalm and some spf 15.
Also, to those complaining about judgment, if you want objectivity, go to a newspaper. Otherwise, they're allowed to voice their opinions.

My prom was just last year and I fully plan on wearing that dress again. I might shorten it, but I went for a green, white, and pink Lilly Pulitzer that I might seriously wear for the rest of my life.

I doubt I'd realistically spend that amount of money on any article of clothing. But if I had money to throw around, and I were the type to go to the beach and not want to ever get wet (like my sister) I would probably buy something like that. If you have no plans of getting wet anyway, what's wrong with it? It's just expensive beachwear.

I agree with all the statements about bold and/or thick eyebrows. I got my eyebrows done once and I left crying because it looked so weird. It taught me how much I actually do love my thick eyebrows.

Tell us, and move on. I think most people believe that you won't write about something just because you received it for free. Most readers will trust that you write about things you like and you like them regardless of things you have received.
