For the record, we st. louis girls don't usually have such a thick southern accent, Karlie sounds like she has a tinge of tennessee (not that this is a bad thing). That was particularly striking to me, given that she is from Clayton, an upper mid class suburb of st. louis not exactly known for down-home twange (though we have plenty of that too)
That said, Karlie seems very kind and cute, and I secretly imagine the scenario of running into her in town. I would definetly give her a wave.

I use Makeup Forever cream in black, and I would recommend it.
The only draw-back to black lips it would seem is never getting them to stay glossy and truly black enough.
When it begins to wear off or look gritty, it falls dangerously out of runway territory and into high school mall goth look.

I won't deny that obesity is unhealthy, or that Beth Dito is obviously overweight, however, this does not gurantee that she is a walking heart attack.
For all the models and fashion stars we see chain smoking, checking into rehab, undergoing crazy amounts of plastic surgery, being underfed, and performing other bodily harmful feats of greater or lesser extents, I think its odd to single out Beth Dito as a degenerate and unfit fashion icon.
I think there are deeper motives for people's dislike of Beth Dito, and I question the moralistic concern of the people saying they don't like her as a model simply because her weight is unhealthy.
If health was really all it came down to, wouldn't we expect all our models and designers to go to bed by ten?

I don't think Kors really does costumes...and I don't think he would consider himself like many of the other male designers...but then again I see him more likely dining with DVF than Galliano or Gaultier (my guess)

The stars are all over jovovich-hawk for target, which currently, is all over me.
And they had a few star prints at Express over the winter,
I like the star print, I think its cutesy enough without bordering on 'whimsical', which is always the danger of wearing a floral.
I have to admit, I have a soft spot for mall punk, like pyramid studs on my purses...but in that classy, high-brow way.
