For a holiday office party, I’m wearing the Komarov Crinkled Cap Sleeve Dress (floaty pretty dancing dress) in red.

But I’m not sure about shoes. I’m not a fan of the black/red combo, so I’m avoiding black. And this is in Chicago in winter, so I’m not sure a strappy sandal is appropriate.

My boyfriend likes the idea of purple suede stiletto pumps, but I’m not sure about that color/style combination with the dress.

What do you think? Would purple suede pumps be ok? Or can you suggest something else?
