Spring 09 Gap Booties?

spring 09 gap ads with booties.jpg Hey all,

Does anyone know about the shoes in the new Gap ads for Spring 09? I’m talking about the booties - there are two versions, both in tan, nubuck-y suede with little laces. One pair is pretty tall with a fairly slender heel, the other pair is a little shorter with a much chunkier, more casual heel.

I looked on the Gap site, but didn’t find anything. Maybe they’re not available yet, maybe they’re not even Gap shoes - I don’t know, but I really kind of love them.

Can anyone help or maybe point me toward a very similar alternative?

i'm a musician (ugh, does that sound pretentious or what? sorry...) and i think this hat would be pretty darn cute onstage. with all black, of course--little shorts or a poufy mini (the shorter the better), tights, platform heels.
it could be really fun.

and in that case, bastylefilegirl, if you came to one of my gigs while i wore that hat, you actually would be paying to see someone wear it who isn't a clown! :-)

oh sure, i do it sometimes....if i know that i'm more likely to wear the oversized item enough to get my money's worth, then heck yeah. if it fit on me the way it was intended and in the properly-scaled size, i might not be as enamoured with the item and then it would end up sitting in my closet, unworn.

i think she looks very pretty and happy and she looks nice in the clothes.

i feel like some folks are being awfully mean to suggest that britney (or anyone at all, for that matter) isn't good enough to wear particular designers' clothes.

how about putting some positive energy into the world and acknowledge that rodarte and balenciaga are getting some more well-deserved exposure and that the person wearing the clothes looks great, happy, and healthy?

yay for rodarte, yay for balenciaga, and yay for britney!
