at first glance, i thought the headline read "bubbe-licious." and then i looked more closely.. very cute necklace. although i'd probably never wear it for fear the glass would break.

unfortunately, the dresses only look good on the models. i bought the "benz blue" one-shouldered dress last week in a medium, which i usually wear, despite other online shoppers' warnings that they ran small, and i was swimming in the dress. it was too bad, too. it wasn't poorly constructed at all, although i think the cotton knit could have been more substantial. but the banded hem is just not flattering on anyone with hips and a round bottom like me.

olivier polge is the son. he created viktor & rolf flowerbomb, among others. gosh, your handwriting is so difficult to decipher, i thought you had spelled "jacques" wrong, and then i realized it actually is an S and not a T.

you know, i know headbands aren't right for everyone and every situation (see above-mentioned food network judge...and PJH, that "ren fair reject" is a great assessment- i've always wondered WHY she wears that!) but i have a few relatively simple headbands (one bronze, shiny, not metallic, and one black faux alligator, neither more than 1/2" thick) and they really come in handy when trying to polish up an outfit. granted, i'm still in college, but they help me look a little more put-together when paired with a loose bun on days i don't have time to re-wash and blow-dry my curly hair because i have to race to class or a meeting.

i saw one in the summer urban outfitters catalog last week. i doubt the hipsters will be wearing them much longer now.

everyone does know that urban and anthropologie are the same company, right? that said, i won't shop at UO anymore but i do adore anthropologie. mostly for their housewares, though.

i think the ikea bedding came out last fall for back-to-school. it also comes in green/orange. and it's kinda creepy when you pair it with the crime scene chalk outline print sheets. not a very inviting place to sleep.

but my first thought for the trivia question was DVF, too.

the tights are cute but any color but black would work in the summer.
