"you could invest in something well made"
I agree. It's just that this Wang bag is so not the quality piece I want to be investing in. Not only is it super-trendy, but it's not even very original. Slouchy and zippered? Been done.

Sunscreen and lots of it! And maybe a little concealer and bronzer if I need it. And then some more sunscreen!

I was just talking with my mom about wearing mine again to an upcoming wedding. Mine was six years ago, but I didn't stop growing until after high school (I think I grew two inches taller since I was eighteen) so I'm skeptical as to whether it still fits. It was a classic sort of Old Hollywood dress, though, so I might be able to still wear it.
I broke out my prom shoes not that long ago and got tons of compliments on them, though.

Here's a different interview where he talks about wanting to be asked "a dirty question": http://www.eyeweekly.com/blog/torontonotes/article/67139
I agree that it's in bad taste to be talking about your sexual prowess with the woman you left your wife for. I don't know how old his kids are, but he must be aware that one day they'll google him, and ...

On domestic (U.S.) flights, I don't bother dressing for comfort too much, although I skip shoes with extra-complicated buckles, etc. In winter, I like to wear my biggest boots with skinny jeans tucked in, so that I don't have to take up space packing them.
On long international flights (hello, 14-hour flight from L.A. to Sydney), I go basic: comfy tee, broken-in cords or jeans, hoodie. Either cute little sneakers or (normally I hate them, but) flip-flops, with a pair of socks in my bag. Definitely ear plugs and an eye mask, and I carry on my own pillow and blanket.

I'm obsessed with the Pliage bags, because they're fairly waterproof and they fold up nicely for travel.
As for a lack of compartments, I usually have little mesh zipper bags (I got mine at Office Depot - they're pencil bags) with cosmetics in one, medicine and feminine products in another, etc. It makes it really easy to change purses, just swap the pencil cases in and out.

Abby and Britt,
I read the post once and never picked up on the fact that the jeans were free. When Jezebel posted that, I came back, re-read the whole post thoroughly, and still didn't see what they were talking about.
I really don't have any problem with you getting free jeans - every job has perks, and that's one of the ones that comes with working in fashion - and a positive review is as good as any, but if you get something for free, why not be as candid as possible? A parenthetical disclosure is all you need.
A bunch of your readers are trying to tell you that it was unclear, and all I see is defensiveness. I don't see any of the nastiness typical of some Fashionista commenters, but you guys don't seem to think that our opinion is valid or worth considering on this matter, even when we're pretty well-equipped to tell you how we read the post.

Some of the models on this show are just not helping the designs. The girls who wore espadrilles - I think she was wearing Epperson's green-and-white dress - was just clumping down the runway. Same with the girl who wore Logan's poofy dress - she didn't give it the grace it needed. They need to work harder on selling the designs they're modeling!

5. Yes, Jen Rade was freaking awesome. Especially when she told the model (was it Emarie? Or Valerie? I can't remember which she said it to) that there was a reason they were a model and not a designer. Zing! In general, she told it like it is, and I'd love to see her back on there to fill in.
That said, come back, Kors!

I thought the trompe-l'oeil stitches were really witty and cute when I saw them on Project Rungay. Some other people thought they were stupid, but I liked that Irina had a sense of humor.
I'm really big on Christopher and Irina. I also think Ra'mon is one of the more talented, but he keeps veering into weird unitards (see next week's preview). He won't stay on long if he can't check himself.
Also, Models of the Runway is terrible, not least of all because they keep knocking off the cutest, most talented models. Yosuzi (the first one to go) was one of the more striking, and now Emarie is gone, and I adored her. Also, it seems like the models of color are slowly disappearing, and what was a diverse group is getting whiter and whiter.

That dress ages Leighton, to me, and not in a good way either. Or maybe it's just the lipstick. Either way ...

The way Blake's hair is braided all the way down, too ... ahhhhh. And the slicked-back look on top is totally what we used to do in gymnastics, not at all the look needed for a red carpet.

Ra'mon did not deserve to be kicked off. He'd consistently shown more creativity and talent than some of the designers who weren't even in the bottom three.
For what it's worth, I was not too impressed with Nicholas's design, which looked cheap, or Christopher's. The latter does the same silhouette every single time, and this time it was just unflattering bundles of fabric on the bottom.
I was also not that impressed with Logan's outfit. Actually, taking a second look, I thought it was unbelievably cliche and boring. A black leather jumpsuit for action/adventure? You don't say! And Althea's design for Tanisha was waaay too similar to what won her the model challenge two weeks back.
I loved Epperson's design; I thought it was stylish and creative and a new take on Western.
I also was confused about the challenge as a whole: was it to make a costume that worked on film, or was it to make an outfit that a regular woman might wear, using elements from that genre. Please, PR, define these things more clearly!

I bought their kajal eye liner recently, and it gives a gorgeous, smudgy line, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to sharpen. I don't even need a really defined point, but you have to be able to sharpen a pencil a little, and half the e/l was wasted when I tried. For $18? No thanks. I'll stick with my $2 Prestige Cosmetics liners.
