I just can't find a way to justify high-waisted, baggy-crotched belted "pants" (in quotations because the construction, or lack thereof, of the waistline leaves me questioning) when combined with a shredded Harley Davidson tee that shrieks "Teen Vogue DYI Page." I don't care how many trend quotas that left outfit fills, it's heinous in my book.

eww, hot mess is an understatement. i am confused - does she have some kind of sheer white undergarment on or is her stomach really that pale? i have no problem with fair skin, it's admirable...i'm just having difficulty comprehending the outfit. then again, maybe her calf-length knotted belt thing is blinding my vision. belt+scarf=barf; coincidence? not in my book.

Underwear, I'm not ashamed to admit, is the one thing that I put on with the men in my life in mind. Most of the men in my life have not been extremely fashion-forward. I can hear the "granny panties" line being dropped.
That being said, if I didn't have plans, I'd probably wear a pair. Trends come and go, but underwear lines are NEVER okay. Seems like they'd be flattering underneath certain items.

i was on the verge of not even commenting because the ridiculousness has already been marveled at, but - if you click the first recommended article under the slideshow, "10 things you must buy this summer" or something, the very first item is a ROMPER! the epitome of childlike clothing! full disclosure i adore rompers, but come ON.

i am sooo happy to see this. i feel so validated. i swear to something, when I first moved to nyc, my first thought was, "do new yorkers not sweat?!" no matter the temp there are people layering like it's the tundra. i think i'm actually just envious. i sweat if i just think about wearing a scarf.
