I am the same way with Oprah book club books - if there is a book i want to read branded that way, i hunt it down in a used bookstore for a cover WITHOUT the big O. I can't stand the thought that people would think i was reading that because Oprah told me to.

these SO remind of of the Seinfeld episode with Sue-Ellen Mishke who never wore a bra and then Elaine gave her one as a gift to be snarky and she popularized it as a top and women all over NYC were wearing them...

From this quote, the author isn't even qualifying a sweatshop in any way. And Fashionista isn't qualifying it either. The author is just saying, for better or worse, these are what these people think of this work. So maybe read before you judge?

i was kind of expecting a less pricey eyeshadow alternative since you mentioned the colors were on trend...it seems like an odd segue to make-up brushes.

I have an 8 month old, and my initial reaction was, "how cute!" even though I wouldn't wear them myself.
My baby girl wears leggings from Baby Gap and Children's Place all the time - leggings are super practical at this age, when pants don't always fit right. But I don't know if I could go in a store like AA and buy something for my daughter. Fashion doesn't exist in a vacuum.
However, I don't think these are as bad as putting a baby in a bikini.

I get your point #34, but none of those places are selling children's clothes or are they?
