Just wondering - by posting these, have you ever worried that you may be prompting someone to go out and buy them? I like this feature and find it interesting, but at the same time, I wasn't aware of this top before, and, being a big fan of yellow, now I am tempted! (I know, shame on me, but you get my point.)

I remember in middle school, there were a group of popular girls that ALWAYS still had tags on their clothes. They were rich and had insane wardrobes (or so I thought) and carried Dooney and Bourke bags (disgusting, but hip in '94)I finally asked someone what was up with the tags, and they were like, "Oh didn't you know? They return everything!"

Gross.

I agree with both views here - although Kanye's grammar is nauseating and almost seems trying to hard to be cool since "2" is the only shorthand/slang he employs, I think it's nice to see a celebrity conceding that they are not owed anything by anyone. Many seem to think their fame is limitless...

I agree - I have always had problem skin and have recently quit wearing foundation and it did help. I am down to full eyes, bronzer and blusher only, but I don't like going out without at least mascara and bronzer. Even if no one else can tell, I feel better about how I look with it on, and that makes all the difference.

as a short, small chested, non-curvy gal, I would say the push-up bra is pretty great, but it's for sure a toss-up between those and heels. boobs are great accessories in my book. both my push up bra and my heels help me look more dressy and professional by giving me some curves and allowing me to look people in the eye.

but i will say my favorite part is taking it off and throwing on a sports bra at the end of the day - feels just as good as taking off heels and putting on sneakers!

I will add another tally to my "I wish I lived in NYC" board. Absolutely LOVE Gypsy. I saw it so many times in college because it was easy to get a guy to go with me. "Yeah, it's a musical, but it's about strippers!"

And the movie version w/ Bette Milder is PRICELESS. All-star cast!

I think the whole video is meant to point out how blah Vogue is...I mean, seriously! That many spreads of one model jumping is insane. It just shows the entire lack of creativity over there.

And I agree with the posters who have pointed out that the author was simply trying to point out the "token" minority in the shot, again carrying the theme of the same old crap... ie same white girl jumping every month, which is the point of the whole video.

It should come as no shock that your shoots actually LOOK more interesting when you have different looking people in them!

many people view vintage as "green fashion" because it is recycled clothing...we recently did a spread on green fashion and included a high-end resale shop. even though the original clothes may not have been mfgred with the environment in mind, by reselling you recycle.

Guest @1:24 #1, if you hate this blog so much, why read?

This IS their little island where they can snipe and bitch - it's THEIR web site. If you want more "real" problems than grey hair, (and that is a freakin' real world problem that all women deal with, noted by the large # of comments on this post!) than go read CNN.com and get off the fashion blogs. No one is making you read.

Not a fan - I am short already and wide flares do no favors for my thighs, and thighs are not even a problem area for me! i have to stick with skinnies and bootcut for jeans, and wide-leg for work.

I don't know about the mascara or razors, but my dad has Parkinson's and would have difficulty brushing his teeth if not for the vibrating toothbrush - he has trouble doing both motions (up and down, back and forth) at once

First let me say my school is on here - but i think it's safe to say that the only reason these schools are on the list is because, like the release said, of regional appeal and alumni populations. that is why "top" is in quotation marks.

It's Vic Sic's own subjective opinion based on marketing.

I think it depends on how comfortable you are, trend or no. If it's going to make you feel self-conscious, don't buy it because you won't be comfortable.

Call/email your local community-based magazine and tell them you need a portfolio and will model for free. If your community doesn't have local mags, call one in a city within traveling distance. Times are tough and everyone's budgets are being cut.

We use Ford models mostly, but there has been more than one occasion when a model has backed out, we needed to do a last minute shoot and couldn't book someone, or for whatever reason ended up using a non-professional model. It works out great for us because it keeps costs down, and then they get clips in a publication as well.

You can find these kind of mags at your local grocery store. Just look at the masthead and that should give you an email/phone number where you can get in touch with an editor or photographer.
