i also find it curious that people are criticizing the color of the dress when white has been a traditional color choice for the inaugural ball. jackie kennedy, nancy reagan, mary todd lincoln even! and the white only made her rich skin tone look richer.
and in response to #29, this is a fashion blog. yes we're concerned with world affairs, but the original post was about the dress. what did you think fashionista would be posting about after the inauguration ball...the future of the economic bailout plan? get a grip.

maybe too chanel-like, but still some really pretty pieces! the long salmon colored dress is beautiful.

p.s. this is the second time where the hands doing the project have a wicked cool manicure. love it!

where does britt aboutaleb get her info? her post is very accusatory of b&n, outright alleging that the bookstore has been intentionally brainstorming how to rip-off louis vuitton.
with all due respect, i don't think that the b&n bag is a rip off at all. i'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that their bag was not an intentional copy of a louis tote that wasn't necessarily ingenious in the first place. it's an old school looking canvas tote for crying out loud.
and really, b&n has been selling that tote for at least 6 months if not an entire year already. i'm curious why it's being posted now, and not when it came it out. thanks!
