I’m doing a research paper on the history of publishing.

Specifically, I want to delve into the world of magazine publishing, if possible even as narrow as fashion magazines, but I’m having trouble finding enough information.

Is it a weird topic?

Does anyone know of any websites or books specifically dedicated to the subject or what might be the best way for me to go about my research?

iiAt my high school for our senior year, we’re supposed to do this huge project on a topic of our choosing and I’ve decided to do it on fashion, more specifically fashion magazines.

I’m going to create my own and was just wondering if I’m allowed to use designer ads like in real magazines.

Since this is not going to be published anywhere would I still legally be able to use them?
