I think it's absolutely a good thing.
It should always be in fashion to be thrify because everybody knows you can't buy style.

Entry: Would You Wear Faux-Denim Leggings?

On one hand, you have the ultimate skinny pant, except they're not a pant, they are leggings and I will always consider them that.
I haven't seen them look good on anyone irl, I think this one should stay on the catwalk.
BUT
If i were to wear them it would only be with a loose long tee in which case you might as well wear actual leggings.
