See, I love it. Vogue is EXACTLY the book to try importing a little humor into what they do. Maybe depth will come next.

Ok sorry, claws are retracted. But honestly, I say way to go!

the only one i ever saw was in echo park in los angeles and yeah, it was also really quickly replaced -- i think with the ad with all the technicolor leggings-and-asses in a row.

This is why I lovelovelove Bazaar for sending their subscribers a completely different cover with noooo cover-lines!

Sad, though. My room mate is the designer for C Magazine here in LA -- they recently up'ed their ante and started doing way more cover-lines, which I think is sad since their aesthetic was so pared down before. Must give the people what they want though?

Woah. Creepy/crazy. And yeah, awesome book. Just finished reading the End of Fashion and I wish I hadn't read Deluxe first because E of F PALED in comparison... Although, as per the quote of the day, you can never have too many awesome Isaac Mizrahi moments.

The office shots actually weren't fake, much to the chagrin of elevator-riders up and down 6300 Wilshire who got squished by film crew gear!
