Got Them: At the Free Arts auction at Milk Studios last night.

Stalked Them: Well, actually, we were stalking Clive Owen but he was nowhere to be found.

Shot Them: Because they stood out among the Chuck Closes and Marilyn Minters hanging on the walls. Oh, also because we've never seen real girls rock Balenciaga, and it was kind of amazing.

They Say: "Real girls should wear Balenciaga! It's actually depressing how much they dumb down the collection from the runway to the racks. I mean, the poufy sleeves have like a quarter the volume they're supposed to! Can you believe their shape was actually held by styrofoam?!"

We Say: Only Nicolas could make styrofoam work.

Got Her: At the Vogue/Cover Girl party last night.

Stalked Her: Hello? Do you see her dress? Even Diddy gave her a second look. (He was wearing an original Members Only jacket, by the way).

Shot Her: Because we were staring at her for so long it would have been creepy if we didn't go up and introduce ourselves.

She Says: "The shoes are Loubs! I wanted to wear something sexy so I borrowed the dress from Cassie. It's Alessandro Dell'Acqua."

We Say: Mission accomplished. And those aren't just any Louboutins, they're the Rodarte ones, and we seriously admire you for wearing those all night.

Got Them: Lazing away the day on the corner of Prince and Mott.

Stalked Them: Because they were both wearing the same thing, except not really, and we wanted to know what they were drinking - a cappuccino and a watermelon juice, in case you're wondering.

Shot Them: Because, Hello, they were totally giving us an advertisement for Steven Alan style

They Say: (Actually, not much. We asked them why they were dressed the same, to which they only giggled.)

We Say: We love fifth grade chic!

Got Her: On Mercer, heading to the place to be today - the post office on Greene.

Stalked Her: Because we've never seen a real woman wear such an Olsen-esque piece of clothing and not look ridiculous.

Shot Her:Because beyond the fur and the plaid, she had on some pretty awesome jewelry like the lapis stone bracelet, a snake bangle and horsebit thingy. Plus, we love an oversized clutch.

She Says: "Thank god I killed that bear! (awkward silence) Just kidding! It's totally fake. Um, I guess my style is homeless chic?"

We Say: The style's actually called Olsen.

Got Her: Catwalking on Greene Street in SoHo

Stalked Her: Because her hot pink lips and jet black bob caught our eye from across the street.

Shot Her: Because she was the ultimate anti-"florals for Spring" and what we first thought was simply a jacket worn backwards turned out to be made that way (a la 90's Celine Dion/Galliano).

She Says: "The bag is Miu Miu, the other one is from Trader Joe's. I got the jacket on sale at Century 21, it's by Ilaria Nastri. Everything else was stolen from various shoots."

We Say: "Maybe Kriss Kross had something there... "

Got Her: Texting a friend at Style.com's party at Glass Houses last night

Stalked Her: Because anyone who goes out in green tights deserves to be noticed

Shot Her: Because upon closer inspection, we realized the tights are genius (we noticed her from across the room and it was super packed), and there was something really cool happening on her back (click through!)

She Says: "I originally had on just black tights, but they had a huge snag in them, so I switched to this green pair I got at Target instead. And this is actually a long, open-backed top! I sewed straps into the back, and made it into a kind of dress!"

We Say: We're green, people.

Got Her: Outside the Anna Sui store in Soho.

Stalked Her: Because she looked cool and age appropriate.

Shot Her: Because she looked cool and age appropriate (sometimes, it's that easy).

She Says: "I run around all day and I can't wear heels. I've been wearing Converse since I was a kid and they've just become a big part of my style. And the colored tights are from my mum's closet, they're like, vintage nylon tights from the '70s. It's an easy way to look like you've done something with your style, even if you haven't!"

We Say: Love at first tight!

Got Her: Outside the Louis Vuitton boutique, Greene St., Soho.

Stalked Her: Because her red spangled cardigan was an appropriate spring Chanel reference, without being cloying.

Shot Her: Because high waisted jeans live! And look great!!!

She Says: "I wanted to dress up today, and so the tie made me feel a little bit more formal... like that photograph of Kirsten Dunst! Do I look like Kirsten Dunst?! Okay, no, not at all!"

We Say:: Yo, Rio!

Got Her: On 6th street, near SXSW

Stalked her: Because we had to know more about her southwestern vintage-looking rhinestone getup

Shot her: Because we love when people add impromptu accessories like fabric tied like a belt to their outfits

She says: "We had these outfits made by a guy in California. They're based after Nudie suits."

We say: We love a rhinestone cowgirl.

Got her: Sitting outside the Austin Convention Center at SXSW, talking on her phone

Stalked her: Because we noticed her hair from across the street, and love it even more now that we know she cuts and colors it herself

Shot her: Because that's a lot of jersey for a girl from Chicago

She says: "I just knew I wanted a bright pink something, so I just got a long piece of jersey from a fabric store to style like a scarf."

We say: Maybe we'll find Heather tomorrow, repackaged as a lead singer?

Got Them: At Bergdorf Goodman for an Italian Textile Exhibit, (more on that later). Chris was there too, but he's a bit camera shy!

Stalked Them: Because every time we see a designer, we want to know if they made their own outfit. And because we had to know what they'd been up to since their dramatic exits from Project Runway.

Shot Them: Because we're having fun racking up Project Runway streetwalkers faster than you can say, "Auf Wiedersehen."

Jack Says: "The shirt's Gucci and the jeans are Levi's - but I made my body. Does that count?"

Victorya says: "My shirt is vintage and my jeans are Earl. My first design job was at Earl and it was actually really fun. I got my boots in Paris and I have no idea who makes them, but I know I love them. And Paris sounds better than a brand anyway!"

We Say: When in doubt, always answer Paris.

Got Him: Floating among the Misshapes, random Real World cast members and Victorya, yes that Victorya, at Brad Walsh's photography exhibit on Saturday night.

Stalked Him: Because we had to say, "Congratulations!" And because we had to know how it felt to never hear Heidi say, "Auf Wiedersehen."

Shot Him: Because we noticed his shiny shirt the second we stepped in the room. And because his hair really does look like that.

He Says: "I made the top, the jeans are Cheap Monday, the vest is Topman, the necklace is Vivienne Westwood and the shoes are Comme Des Garcons - they're my favorite."

We Say: "Will you please make us a fierce ruffled jacket for spring?"

Got Her: At the Tommy (Dad) Hilfiger Men's Presentation.

Stalked Her: Because we wanted to know if she was really shorter than Natalie.

Shot Her: Because black and white and fringed all over is our idea of a good time.

She Says: "The bracelet is an ancient Indian tradition, and every time it gets cut or falls off I retie it 6 times and say a prayer each time. It provides protection against everything."

We Say: "Tie her up, tie her down, we love her either way."

Stalked Him: Because we loved the mix of patterns on his scarf and his shirt.

Shot Him: How often do you see a boy whose jeans actually fit?!

He Says: "I feel like I wear the same thing every day."

We Say: That's okay; so does Karl.

PS: Sarah's parents got her that scarf in South America. It's sort of The Muppets Do Couture, huh?

Got Her: Right outside our door, on Mott Street near Prince, getting out of a car.

Stalked Her: Because her red coat was billowing behind her, and we had to see the rest.

Shot Her: Because her mix of five colors actually looks cool rather than crazy.

She Says: "The shoes are Pierre Hardy, the jacket is Gryphon, the bag is YSL, the scarf is Wolford, the dress - I don't remember, the necklace is from Curve, and, oh, the coat, the coat is Matthew Williamson."

We Say: Hand over that coat! You'll still look good without it...

Got Him: Celebrating the opening of his exhibit with a private viewing at The Danziger Gallery in Chelsea last night.

Stalked Him: Well, because he's the Sartorialist! But also because we've never seen a man so impeccably dressed in clothes that fit so precisely.

Shot Him: He's like the god of streetwalkers. And last time we caught him he was busy in action - we thought it was time for a close up shot.

He Says: "The suit's Boglioli. I mean, I can sleep in this suit, I can shoot in it. It's not incredibly expensive. Most of the time I'm moving around so I need to be comfortable. The shoes are Vass, super comfortable, super awesome. Shoe trees are key. I always pay extra for my overweight luggage when I head to Europe and it's all for the shoe trees. I mean if i have a thousand dollar pair of shoes, I want them to last. If something's bespoke, I want it to work well."

We Say: It works very well.

Got Her: On the corner of Little West 12th and Washington, on her way to lunch

Stalked Her: Because we've been dying to wear our high waisted wide leg jeans, but we just can't get them right in this weather.

Shot Her: Because she's pulled off a subtle, real-life take on the 70's shoot from last month's W, and we're in awe.

She Says: "I don't like to be too trendy, but I thought if I matched a quiet, billowy top with my trendier denim, it makes the look more classic. I just want to be comfortable, and still sophisticated."

We Say: Is it spring yet?!

Got Her: Heading south on Mott Street just below Prince.

Stalked Her: Because her (literally) head to toe blue look was just oh so Pantone 2008.

Shot Her: Because upon closer inspection, we realized she was wearing one of those puffy jackets we've always hated, but in a way we didn't hate.

She Says: "The jacket is Armani Exchange, the bag is Marc Jacobs, the shoes are DKNY, and the jeans - I have no idea. I dyed my hair blue back in Moscow, where I work as a DJ under the name 'Le Bleu.'"

We Say: Stand alone, Le Bleu!

Got Her: At the Louis Vuitton party for Richard Prince's exhibit closing.

Stalked Her: Actually, yes, we did - we spotted her outfit from three balconies above the Guggenheim floor.

Shot Her: Because her silhouette was sophisticated, but her bow was gutsy. That's a good combo.

She Says: "Most of my outfit is Alice Roi, but the bow tie is actually from a Mariachi band!"

We Say: Play on!
