Kaitlin,19, Student
Got Her: Shopping at the Juicy Couture/Teen Vogue Fashion University Party.
Stalked Her: Because in a sea of over-accessorized youth her subtle mix of classic and punk caught our eye.
Shot Her: Because she took simple pieces and combined them perfectly. And the lacing on the back of her blazer is detailing perfection. Not to mention we’re suckers for Doc Martens.
She Said: “I like to dress in contradictions that mesh together.”
We said: The student becomes the teacher.
Eric & Aris, both 21, Photographer & Promoter
Got Them: Hanging out on the corner of Prince & Crosby soaking up the single burst of sunshine.
Stalked them: Because on this particularly windy afternoon, the biker jacket on the left and the torn sweater on the right were perfect protective layers.
Shot Them: Because Eric’s jacket fed our current leather addiction (which always hits when fall does). And when we got closer, it only got better. Aris has clearly mastered the art of mixing textures and accessories. These boys make hipster goth look good.
Aris Said: “The sweater was a hand me down and so was the jewelry. And I wear these pants and boots everyday.”
Eric Said: “I really just pulled sh*t out of the closet.”
We said: Want to trade closets?
Sarah, Buyer
Got Her: Rushing in and out of the bathroom pre-Guy Laroche at the Louvre.
Stalked Her: Because I couldn’t believe my eyes, was that a mom in Balmain?
Shot Her: Isn’t it obvious?
She Said: “I am a buyer for the department store Detail in Korea, and everything I am wearing is Balmain, except the t-shirt. It’s just a t-shirt. Oh, and the necklace is Erickson Beamon.”
We Said: This is multi-tasking at its best.

Fashion’s Mystery Man, 28, Journalist & Stylist
Got him: Just before Viktor & Rolf in Paparazzi Alley (our new nickname for the walk through the Jardin des Tuilieries, the necessary route to the Espace Ephémère).
Stalked him: Because he’s at every show at every fashion week, almost always front row, and no one knows who he is.
Shot him: Because he’s all about the color in a world of bondage shoes and peaked shoulders.
He said: “I am a stylist and journalist in China”
We say: Sorry, between your whisper-soft voice and strong accent we can’t quite understand you. But that’s okay, your look speaks for itself.

Louise Ebel, 24, Blogger
Got her: Having a bite on the Quai Malaquais, pre-Rick.
Stalked her: Have you seen her hair? Her headband? (ed. note. And just when we’d rejoiced in Dan throwing Blair’s down the stairs?) Her boots? The purse?
Shot her: Because she’s incorporated too many major trends. And yet, she fails to look like a fashion victim.
She said: “I love my headband, it’s by my friend, Madame Sal.”
We said: There’s a reason you’re the most photographed girl in Paris.

Tanya Jones, 27, Stylist from Milan
Got her: Sitting pretty at Gareth Pugh. It’s the first big Paris show, so everyone’s happy.
Stalked her: Her stripes, boyfriend blazer and tortoiseshell glasses were effortless prep, but that red lip gave her a much needed edge.
Shot her: Because amongst all the Rihanna and Daphne Guinness and crazy London cool kid mayhem at Gareth, she stood out as being very relaxed about it all.
She said: “I just arrived in Paris today, so this is my traveling outfit, it’s comfy, it’s jersey. This is not a look for a show.”
We said: If that isn’t a look, then we are doing something seriously wrong.

Kate, 33, Stylist and Creative Director
Got Her: Walking down Prince Street on one of the first really chilly days of the year.
Stalked Her: We knew as soon as we stepped outside today that people all over town would be piling on the layers and breaking out their new fall pieces. Bring on the cute hats and scarves.
Shot Her: Because she has transitional dressing down. Her simple, classic look works perfectly for the current weather, but would be just as great in the spring — sans the tights and chunky sweater.
She Said: “I collect striped shirts, and that’s why I put this one on this morning. A friend of mine recently wrote a piece for Vogue about how to wear shorts in the Fall, so I was inspired to try it out.”
We Say: We’re actually pretty excited about this change in temperature. New outfits for all.
