The first weekend of Coachella is over and the Internet is already awash with street style pics of festival girls (some of them celebs) in cut offs, crop tops, and floral garlands blissing out in front of the stage.
But that’s only half the sartorial story–there were also plenty of parties last weekend (and none of them Guantanamo-themed, thankfully).

Rompers and overalls have been in for a while now. And of course shorteralls have been immortalized on Girls. But recently, the overall fad has been trending back to the original–as in full jean overalls. Or, as Leah called them “denim pantseralls.”
They’re really cute and perfect for summer (see: our street style girl today) but here’s the rub: They’re crazy hard to pull off.

Margaret Thatcher, Britain’s first and only female Prime Minister, passed away earlier this morning of a stroke at the age of 87.
As one of the first women to hold such a powerful political position in the Western world, Thatcher’s political legacy will obviously endure for decades to come–but her fashion legacy, too, will have a lasting effect on female politicians.
In many ways Thatcher’s dress sense set the mold for how female politicians dress today: conservative, powerful (yet feminine) and above all, consistent.
