If you thought thrifty Kate Middleton was going to be buying a whole new maternity wardrobe, well, you’d be sadly mistaken. Never one to shy away from an outfit repeat, the Duchess of Cambridge has been repurposing some of her old favorites during her pregnancy.

Since Armani is one of the only large, established fashion houses still controlled and designed by its founder–and Giorgio Armani won’t be able to run the show forever–there’s been a lot of discussion and speculation over what might happen to his fashion empire. While that discussion has been going on for years, it’s been an especially hot topic of late due to recent reports that Armani plans to create a foundation that will maintain control of the company once he steps down.
To celebrate the debut of their new Heritage Frames eye wear collection, Armani put together a blogger-photographed street style project called Frames of Your Life, intended to capture real people wearing their shades. It’s a “more than just sunglasses” deal, okay? It’s a “frame” of one’s life, captured in a photographer’s lens while wearing Armani’s frames. Get it?
Despite the kitschy tag line on the project’s website, the project is quite impressive: Armani has used well known and respected bloggers (like Tommy Ton) whose photographs are gorgeous. So far, they’ve captured subjects in ten cities.

Fashion’s Night Out is a little more than a month away and more details are being revealed around the world as the night gets closer.
For one, Hamish Bowles and Lauren Santo-Domingo will not be the only Vogue editors to appear on the September 20 FNO-themed Gossip Girl episode. Vogue market editor Meredith Melling-Burke will also make an appearance and we hear she’s wearing Chloe.
