Iggy Pop Only Wears His New Tees For Barneys When It’s Too Cold in His Ferrari
The one and only Iggy Pop was on hand at Barneys Co-op last night to sign t-shirts at the launch of his collection for the store’s Archive 1887 line.
Of course, Iggy Pop doesn’t really wear t-shirts. At last night’s launch celebration, he was wearing a vest with no shirt underneath. If you Google image the punk rock legend, it’s hard to find an image of him with a shirt on.
So I asked him, “You don’t really wear t-shirts–are you going to wear your Barneys’ Archive 1887 line?”
Now prepare yourself for this epic rock star response: “I wear them in the morning when my AC is too cold in my Ferrari–I always wear an Iggy and the Stooges t-shirt,” he told me.
But would he ever wear them on stage?
