Cathy Horyn Ruffles Feathers Again: Horyn published a “must-see” list of shows for NYFW, which included many young designers but left out several big name players like DVF and Oscar de la Renta. Some were indifferent, but more than a few felt slighted. {WWD}

Franca Sozzani Thinks Dior Should Hire John Galliano Back: The Italian Vogue editor says, “ I understand [Dior's] point of view…and they couldn’t just say, ‘Bad boy! We forgive you! Come back!’ But it’s really a pity. And I will never believe he believed what he said.” {The Daily Beast}

ANTM All-Stars Starts Wednesday, Tyra Still Crazy: If this commercial is any indication of what’s to come this season, we can expect it to be a totally engrossing shitshow. {Fashin}

The ever-charming Bryanboy has always been one of our favorite personal style bloggers. Evidently, Kanon Organic Vodka finds him just as charming as we do–or even more so. They’re going to film him for 24 hours straight on February 16 during New York Fashion Week to, “give viewers a first hand look into what it’s like to rub elbows with fashion’s elite, from Alexander Wang to Anna Wintour,” and viewers will be able to tweet him questions. Bloggers are usually mum on their income, but Bryanboy previously revealed to New York that he makes over $100,000 a year on appearances and through ads. Wonder how much Kanon is shelling out for 24 hours of his time?

And if you needed any further encouragement to tune in to Bryanboy’s New York Fashion Week adventures, here’s some footage of him from last season, clad head to toe in Givenchy couture (the same blazer Carine Roitfeld wore that same season). “Happiness is one hair flip away,” he says. At least we know he’s good with the one-liners. Check it out.

Five years ago, who would have thought someone could make a viable and profitable career out of…well…fashion blogging? It’s safe to say that a certain set of bloggers (ahem, Susie Bubble and Bryanboy) have proven the naysayers wrong.

During Fashion Week, Independent Fashion Bloggers is hosting a seriously major conference at Milk studios in NYC (February 10-11, 2011) that any budding blogger should attend.

The two day conference will be packed with panels, workshops, and a party, plus you’ll score a fabulous gift bag. You’ll also learn about digital marketing, monetizing your blog, the evolution of the industry, and more from blogosphere and online media names like Man Repeller’s Leandra Medine, Face Hunter’s Yvan Rodic, Fashionista alum Faran Krentcil of Nylon, and Tumblr fashion director Rich Tong. The best part? Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are giving the keynote speech.

YSL Wants YOU: Move over, Daria/Naomi/Kate, you’re being replaced by…some random person. YSL took to the internet to announce an open casting call for tall, elegant “beautiful people” aged 25 to 50. It could be you! But don’t expect a supermodel’s salary. It pays about $200. {WWD}

Natalie Portman Undresses, ’40s Screen Siren Style: Natalie Porman dons a blond Veronica Lake-esque wig in the next issue of The New York Times Magazine. In a video accompanying the story, she elegantly and quietly (not to mention inexplicably) tosses the wig on the floor, along with most of her clothes. Remember when she had a shaved head? {The Moment}

Protect the Booty: George Lopez gave Nicki Minaj a “booty protector” made out of barbed wire. When she put it on, it kind of just looked like part of her outfit. {Daily Mail}

Bryan Boy Makes Over $100,000 per year: The 24-year-old blogger pretty much has it made. He says his income comes from public appearances and advertising on his blog, which makes sense because he doesn’t have any employees to pay. Even though he could clearly afford a pretty sweet apartment, he says he’ll never move to NYC because people aren’t happy here and boys are sluttier. {The Cut}

Both BryanBoy and model Andrej Pejic have a penchant for wearing women’s clothing and this pair of seamless wraparound shades. Who rocks this look better?

Who wears their Givenchy couture better, Vogue Paris EIC Carine Roitfeld or blogger extraordinaire Bryanboy? Either way it’s a win for leopards everywhere.

The new Fashion’s Night Out website launched today and it’s pretty impressive. You can browse and search every New York event listing and even create your own itinerary.

You can also narrow the 51 pages of listings down by neighborhood, category (men, women, beauty) and/or specialty (block party, celebrity, food). But if you’re looking for, say, ten or so events that are most likely worth checking out, look no further. We reviewed each and every page to bring you the ten FNO events we’re most looking forward to.

Bryanboy’s just tweeted congratulations to this year’s ANDAM nominees. They’re not even listed on the foundation’s site yet, but they sound more than plausible (and incredibly international): Francesco Scognamiglio, Mark Fast, Alexandre Vauthier, Bouchra Jarrar, Calla Haynes and Hakaan Yildirim. Carine Roitfeld leads this year’s judging panel with Alber Elbaz, Hilary Alexander, Colette’s Sarah Lerfel, [...]
