Obviously, as fashion-obsessives, we’re a little nutty about models. We’re also pretty into blogging. And tweeting. Oh, and Tumbling, too. With that said, it shouldn’t be a surprise that we really adore the Supes that gratuitously plaster themselves all over the web. Some are incredibly savvy (whaddup, Coco?); some just run a hilarious Twitter. Either way, these accounts should all be on your must-follow list. There’s just something inherently enjoyable about looking at old baby photos. It’s fun to see what people looked like when they were littler people. I saw this fancy gif on Fashin of all these supermodels morphing into their little kid selves and thought I’d troll the fashion webz for photos of today’s top models before they were catwalk-strutting, glossy-page gracing, campaign-landing beauties.

Angels clad in sequin mini-dresses appeared at the Victoria’s Secret store in SoHo earlier this week to celebrate the launch of the new Incredible Bra collection and fragrance. Chanel Iman, Adriana Lima, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge, and Candice Swanepoel greeted guests and posed for pictures as we discovered what’s so “incredible” about the lingerie brand’s new products.
One thing’s for sure: If you want to be a Victoria’s Secret Angel, you’ve got to have more than a great body and a beautiful face. That business takes personality.

It’s Victoria’s Secret season at Fashionista. First, we scored backstage interviews with several Angels before their big runway performance and learned all about that $2 million bra.
Then, we came up with our favorite crazy costumes from the show, which airs November 30 on CBS. And more recently, we’ve been all about those Before I Was a Supermodel videos. (Lily Aldridge‘s will debut tonight, by the way. And Chanel’s is scheduled for tomorrow morning.)
So to wrap it all up–pun intended?–we stopped by the Victoria’s Secret and Pink stores in SoHo this morning and quizzed the Angels on what they plan on giving–and receiving–this holiday season:
What goes on backstage at the Victoria Secret runway show? I spent yesterday afternoon hanging with the models, makeup artists, and hairstylists, trying to figure out the difference between bronzer and self-tanner. (Haha, just kidding. Kind of.) Some quick numbers:
68: The number of hair extensions used by stylist Sam McKnight
15: The number of days Alessandra Ambrosio works out each year. (“And all before this!” she says.)
40: Total number of hours the styling team spent working yesterday.
8.5: Bottles of body bronzer used.

The spectacle that is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show takes place next Wednesday, November 10 in NYC (and airs November 30 on CBS) but photos of the angels in their wings have started to leak.
There are some very unwieldy looking harp wings, a peacock feather in lieu of panties, and some athletic theme appears to be taking shape with Chanel Iman in a sheer baseball uniform.
The Gray Lady even took an interest in the VS Show today with Guy Trebay’s “Angels in Stripper Heels,” which takes a look at the casting process for the show. And describes Carolyn Winberg’s hair as having the “texture of wood shavings.”

We were right again. We were pretty excited about this and it’s definitely our favorite Vogue cover in a while; maybe just because we love Carey so much and that Chanel couture number is refreshingly edgy for the American glossy. The “New” Chanel Iman: Chanel Iman, who at 19 years old is well on her way to becoming a household name, is ready to change and evolve. With fashion week imminent, the runway fixture and Victoria’s Secret model has just signed with IMG after seven months with Supreme. “It’s the celebration of a new me,” she says. {Daily Front Row}
Tavi Styles at Fashion Week: Tavi continues to be unstoppable. Part of Alice & Olivia’s presentation will be styled by the 14 year old blogger. Designer Stacey Bendet calls her “one of the most original people in fashion right now.” {Elle.com}
Express turns 30 years old this year, and they’ve assembled quite a party crew. Vogue will play host to the brand, with Gossip Girl‘s Ed Westwick and current Express faces Caroline Trentini and Chanel Iman.
