Exclusive Preview: Christina Ricci Covers Oyster Magazine, Is Really Small

Our favorite Addams-Family-star-turned-retro-TV-stewardess Christina Ricci covers Oyster this month!

In the fashion mag’s newest issue, which hit newsstands today, the adorable Ms. Ricci talks about the benefits of being super-small (fitting in an airplane’s overhead compartment), her Pan Am on-set pranks (playing dead), and her tendency towards on-stage panic attacks.

Check out our preview of the cover shoot, styled by Stevie Dance and photographed by Gregory Harris. We’re really digging the 1960s-good-girl-gone-a-little-bit-bad vibe of the spread, a theme often associated with the Pan Am actress. Aside from the airplane period drama being set in the early 60s, those Twiggy lashes were legit made for doll-eyed Christina.

Editors, designers, celebrities and models turned it out on the red carpet at last night’s Fashion Oscars, aka the Met Ball. Unlike the real Oscars, this is a red carpet where people who really know and care about fashion take risks. As last night’s gala celebrated “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty,” the McQueen retrospective opening at the Met’s Costume Institute this week, many attendees honored the late designer by wearing his incredible creations (some even got ready in them in the windows of Barneys). But of course, there was also Chanel, Balenciaga, Lanvin, Gucci, Givenchy, Valentino, etc.,
