Kate Moss’s Daughter’s First Word Was ‘Nazzi’…for ‘Paparazzi’
Most children’s first words are something like ‘Dada’ or ‘Mama’–but then, Lila Grace Moss, Kate Moss’s 10-year-old daughter, isn’t like most children.
According to a New York Times interview with Kate, the supermodel has been such tabloid fodder throughout her daughter’s young life that Lila’s first word had little to do with the playroom–it was ‘Nazzi,’ for paparazzi.
We don’t know whether to find that detail funny or sad–but regardless, it is just one of the many tidbits to recently emerge about Moss’s carefully guarded personal life in advance of the release of her new book Kate: The Kate Moss Book.

What We Saw at NYFW, Day 2
Sometimes the best things we see during fashion week happen far away from the runway.
Today we took in Day 2 of NYFW and snapped street style stars Taylor Tomasi Hill, Miroslava Duma, and Elena Perminova doing their thing–we even shot Bill Cunningham. We gawked at iconic models Iman and Carolyn Murphy, and swooned over the best beauty looks at Jason Wu, SUNO, and Rebecca Minkoff. Cuties Anna-Sophia Robb and Lauren Conrad popped up, too.

We Investigate: The Curious Case of the Ageless Supermodels From the ’90s
When Claudia Schiffer’s Guess ads dropped yesterday we literally had trouble deciphering between the current ones and the ones from 1989. I mean, the woman has not aged a day! In 23 years! Then today, Christy Turlington goes ahead and shows up on Tatler also preternaturally unchanged.
This got us thinking about all our favorite 90s supermodels–Naomi, Cindy, Elle, etc.,–whose modeling careers are still kicking, well into their forties. And it’s not hard to see why: The ladies are as gorgeous as they were twenty years ago. And there’s nary a boob that has dropped even an inch. Don’t believe us? Alexa Chung Named Newest BFC Style Ambassador: She’s long been the stye ambassador to our hearts, but now Alexa Chung can add yet another title to her growing list of fashionable ventures. The British Fashion Council has named the influential Brit It-Girl their ‘Young Style Ambassador,’ as which she will “promote British fashion design talent to a global market.” While it seems to us that Chung already does that job quite well, it never hurts to make things official. {Elle UK}
