This year I’ve been feeling the holidays really early–like two weeks before Thanksgiving-early. (I’m blaming all the time I spent researching the NYC holiday windows.) But rather than succumb to the temptation of A Christmas Story just yet (“You’ll shoot your eye out!”), I bought a holiday candle.
Millions of people have been left in the dark in Hurricane Sandy‘s wake. All of Manhattan below 34th street is still powerless–and will be until the weekend. Hundreds of thousands more will have to wait even longer.
Flashlights and batteries sold out quickly pre-Sandy which leads us to…candles.
