Eley Kishimoto Designs for Anthropologie

I’m a huge fan of Eley Kishimoto. I lived in London for two years–where the design duo’s pieces are in just about every indie boutique in the city–so I spent plenty of time ogling their original prints and cute suits.

That’s why it’s so exciting to see the results of the brand’s collaboration with Anthropologie. What Do You Heart?

Yesterday, during step one hundred of Britt-Cleans-Out-Her-Closet week, I found a giant bag full of tote bags. I felt like Mary Poppins pulling them out – the never ending stream included bags from Bumble, from Charlotte Ronson and Alexandre Herchcovitch, one from Preen and another from Eley Kishimoto – the tangible fruits of my Fashion Read more →

Cacharel’s Bad Luck

Cacharel’s removed Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto from their designer posts. The duo’s been designing the line for just one year and though they haven’t made much commercial headway, they’ve gotten solid critical reviews and appeared to be on the right track toward revitalizing the French brand, which celebrated it’s 50th anniversary in Paris this Read more →
