Britney Spears Was a Little Confused About Who Made Her Oscars Party Dress

On Sunday night, the stars came out in droves to hit up all the Oscars after-parties and to show off their fancy dresses. We were pleasantly surprised to see Britney Spears (newly brunette!) in the bunch, looking the best she’s looked in years.

WWD caught up with the singer at Elton John’s party, where she apparently said to the trade about her dress, “It’s Versace.” Which would be all well and good, except that, well… it wasn’t.

Beyonce to Play the Super Bowl, Chelsea Handler Talks Jen Aniston’s Nipples, and Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to Host the Globes

It’s about freaking time. Rumors of a Zoolander sequel have been swirling for 11 years and now we finally seem to have confirmation in the form of an IMDB page. It’s not officially confirmed yet and there’s no word when it could come out, but in the meantime, you can get your Blue Steel fix thanks to this (hilarious) new video of Ben Stiller doing his best Derek Zoolander at Comedy Central’s “Night of Too Many Stars” Autism charity event. {Style Bistro}

Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy and wife Carla Bruni stopped by the Upper East Side for a bit of takeout – around $1,100 worth. That’s a lot of pizza. {NYPost}

The Super Bowl is one of America’s biggest televised events, so the halftime performance has to be just as huge. And what could be bigger than Beyonce? The superstar will headline the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show. {HuffPo}

The Best and Worst Hats and Fascinators of the Royal Wedding

After the dress, the royal wedding is really all about the hats. And fascinators.

Some opted for opulence while others stuck to tradition, and some looked as though they either over thought or put no thought into their head gear at all. Among the best were the devilishly elegant Zara Phillips, Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria, and Queen Sofia and Princess Letizia of Spain.

But there were some who buckled under the pressure, as you will see after the jump.

The List of Royal Wedding Attendees is Out, We Pick Their Outfits For the Big Day

It’s come to the point that Royal Wedding Mania might be a diagnosable disease. While I’ve been trying to remain aloof, day by day it becomes increasingly more difficult to avoid. I was finally sucked in today after the guest list was released, meaning I spent all day picking out outfits for the ten most fashionable attendees (outside the wedding party).

Amongst the Golden Ticket holders (it does feel a little like Willy Wonka doesn’t it?) are the Beckhams, Elton John, Mario Testino, and Joss Stone, naturally.

Click through to see what we hope the Royal Wedding attendees wear, and be warned, our picks are a little (OK, a lot) non-traditional for Westminster Abbey (bare shoulders! gasp!).

Five Reasons We’re Stoked for Pitti

Five Reasons We’re Stoked for Pitti

I’m heading off to Pitti Uomo and Pitti W next week, Florence’s men’s and women’s fairs. Other than eating authentic Neapolitan pizza, which I’m clearly most excited about, there are a ton of great events and shows going on during the week that are sure to make it a memorable few days:

1. Trussardi dal 1911. The Italian house will celebrate its 100th birthday at Pitti with a Fall 2011 runway show. The show will be live-streamed on www.trussardi.com, and brand devotees will be able to buy certain items immediately following the event on www.thecorner.com. There will also be a ton of great pieces from Trussardi’s archives on hand–including gloves from the original Dante Trussardi glove factory–for attendees to view.

2. Liberty’s Men’s Club Cocktail Party. When I lived in London I attended many Liberty of London cocktail parties. I remember one in particular, for jeweler Shaun Leane, where Elton John, Isabella Blow, and Sam Taylor Wood all showed up. Add some canapes, fancy decor, Champagne, and what you have equals magic. So yes, despite my old lady disposition, I’m am thrilled to clink glasses with the Liberty crew yet again. This time around, we’ll be celebrating the launch of their menswear collection, produced by Slowear.
