The Most Extreme Hair from the Met Gala Red Carpet

Click through to see the Met Gala’s riskiest ‘dos and learn how they were conceived and created.

Donna Karan Fall 2012: Suited Up and Singing Along to ‘I’m Every Woman’

Building on her wo-man theme from pre-fall, Donna Karan sent out a masculine-edged tailored collection for fall built entirely around the suit. Sportwear saw pinstripes and doublefaced cashmere pleated and molded to the body on dresses while blazers were strong shouldered over knee-length skirts. What We Saw at New York Fashion Week, Day 5

Day five of New York Fashion Week was a real dream. We took in shows from Marc Jacobs, Chris Benz, Preen, Karen Walker, and Donna Karan – meaning we saw all our friends and our favorite NYFW celebrities.

We snapped Dakota Fanning meeting Jared Leto at Marc Jacobs, the fabulous Michelle Harper at Preen, and Coco Rocha at Betsey Johnson. We also received a cute (and cat themed!) Valentine’s Day gift from our PS I Made This and caught up with the Man Repeller, Leandra Medine, twice!

Check out all our photos in today’s gallery.

Elie Tahari on the Relaunch of His Website, Which Celebs He’d Like To Feature On It, and Why He Starts Each Day By Saying ‘Don’t F*** With Me’

Elie Tahari has seen success in the fashion biz for over 40 years. So to ensure his success for the next 40, this week he’s relaunched his website, elietahari.com. The revamped site features an enhanced e-commerce experience, a “social media” component, and a bulked up editorial component that sees Elie himself interviewing celebrities and curating pages.

We chatted with the Israeli-born fashion mogul about his new editorial role, the celebrity interviews he’d like to score, and the point of view he’ll bring to his new site. We can only hope it’s as honest, charming, and hilarious as Elie is in conversation.

Fashionista: We read this quote from you that we kind of love, that says you greet each day with a “Don’t you fuck with me today.” Can we look forward to that kind of attitude and editorial voice on your new site and in your new webzine, ETC?
Elie Tahari: [Laughs] Why not?
