Stenciled Dip Dye, Coming To A Salon Near You: Bleach is a Brit salon that specializes in zany hair color treatments, including bleaching, rainbow dip dying, and even stenciled words. They originated as a stand in London’s WAH nails but now have their own place in the Oxford Topshop and are making plans to come stateside. Looks like Lauren Conrad was ahead of the curve after all. {Pop}

The First Cartoon Supermodel: UK modeling agency Premier just signed Polly Bean, a character from the satirical comic strip Supermodels to its Special Division. The 20-year-old strip has earned fans like Phillip Treacy and the late Isabella Blow through Bean’s witty commentary on the industry. {Vogue UK}

Mary Katrantzou Fall 2011: Fabergé Beauty

LONDON–Every season, Mary Katrantzou‘s unforgettable prints depict a certain thing or idea. For the season that put her on the map, it was perfume bottles. Last season, it was scenes from hotel rooms. For Fall 2011, it was Faberge eggs.

These prints are spellbinding, and the shape of her molded skirts and dresses is bewildering to see close up. We were blown away by a Swarovski encrusted skirt, made to look like a garden of green jewels dotted with pink flowers made of gems.

The beauty of these garments is unmistakable. But are they wearable? Yes, some. And this season more than usual, given her extensive use of stretchy knits.
